Used and tested all new Classics and the ones similar to these. They are good, easy to ride but when you compare them with Cast Iron 500/350... I'm sorry to say.. its not even close to the piece of art. The new bikes are made for everyone, the old ones.. are made for the ones who can tame it! In short, you go for the speed.. you loose the feel in it. /Period!:)
I want one. But, hear top speed is 75 I would get run over doing that speed. Is this the true top speed? I really really like it but, that speed would really get me run over on highway here.
Heads Up! The bike wobbles like crazy @speed over 100km/hr. RE morons have made the bike lighter, tyres smaller, so it leaves ground at speed excess of 100kmph. Committed a sin of buying this bullshit. 500cc of Bullshit. NCR head Jagdish is another Buttmunch, even after complaining he has no clue how to rectify it. After all what can he do if the machinery sucks?
The only people raving about BULLET are the ones who have parked it at their homes and hardly take it out. I drove the bike ~2000km in a month and it is tearing apart. Heavy maintenance. You can maintain 2 Girlfriends for the price of a Bullet. If you want to DRIVE a bike, go for Honda 250cc / Ninja but dont buy a BULLET. You will end up spending time & money @ workshops only.
i heard that royal enfield motorcycles are made for slow driving? is that true? im thinking bout getting one but i need it for the free way which goes pretty fast...
@Narancazz You can absolutely take these on the freeway. What they mean by "slow driving" is that you shouldnt expect to go as fast as a car can go. On the freeway you'll probably hang around 55 or so, unless you're feeling crazy.
i wonder if i could buy one of these and Bolt in a V-Twin of some type... because i love this Bike ... i'm just not of a Fan of its One Lung Engine ... sounds like a four wheeler lol
lol he goes "why buy a scooter when you have a bike like this?"

Have to say, I am being drawn to the EFI after my initial dislike. Wouldn't sell my classic though.
