Ya know between me & my brother...we would literally spend hours playing this game. So much so we made a huge map using graph paper so we can find our way around & u know.. somehow that map disappeared into thin air...have no idea where it went to this day...but if its any consolation i still have the disc's for it lol
Oooh, I must have finished the game way back in about 1986. It was a truely amazing game for its time. I never did find out what the gargoyle riddle was though!
This was the best game. Man that take me back. I spent 8th and 9th grade playing this. There was a TV in the same room as the Commodore 128 and I remember listening to the Berlin Wall being destroyed, to Nelson Mandela's release from prison, and to Manuel Noriega taking refuge in the Vatican Embassy: all while playing this game. I don't regret a damn minute.
i remember I couldn't get past the riddles on level 3 for about a year. they didn't have hint books or the internet when this came out, you had to do everything by yourself, trial and error.
I cannot begin to describe how much time I spent playing this game. No internet, no hints, no maps, no cheats, just you vs the game.
Skyrim is brilliant and all. I spent more time on this though and would again. Games are so easy now.

I remember how to count the days to come out this second part.
It was the first RPG that really hooked me, of course by that time also were Ultima V and Pool of Radiance.
Great times !

I'm not sure the emulator sound is 100% accurate here...
