  • imagine being able to hear that for miles, it'd be genius!

  • so which drummer was in front of you?

  • @listentohella

    Tim from J.A.C.K.

He was having such a good time during the performance, you could tell. Talked to him afterward & he hugged me for being part of the experience. So many people were doing the same afterward.

  • Will this happen again? Does anyone know when in NYC it will happen again and how you sign up?My wife and I both play kits and want in.Any help would be appreciated.

  • @mohomoho1

Was hoping for a 10/10/10 show this year in NYC, but Boredoms will be in Australia. I did hear they were doing a Boadrum show of some sort there. I made it to the show last year on 9/9/09 at Terminal 5, & while there were only 9 drummers, it was a monumental experience.

I wouldn't mind Gang Gang Dance carrying the NY torch for Boredoms & staging another big drum show, but I haven't heard of them trying to stage something like this again. Lots of Nike's money funding this show too.

  • acid thunder .)

  • AFAIK, an almost complete video recording exists.

  • @chazuke link plz! also, didn't a DVD version of 77boadrum come out?

  • 6:04 - dude hitting a bowl! very necessary.

  • That wasn't the only thing he was hitting during the show ;P

Very friendly guy (same for his friends).

  • AHHHHH it was so close to kicking in! Being here for this was one of the best experiences of my life. Do you know where I might be able to find audio of it anywhere?

  • Still have yet to find a recording of the 8/8/08 show. The complete 77Boadrum show has been officially released in audio form & the Boadrum 9 show at ATP has made its way into unofficial channels, but sadly no 8/8/08 performance.

I think that may have been my favorite show I've ever been to (& I was at the Boredoms 9/9/09 performance). Something about 88 drummers in a park with 5,000 of my closest friends to make the experience near perfect.
