@darkpinus I don't care what awards they get. They still suck! There are stack loads of bands out there that will never get a mention WHO ARE BETTER! Feel Never Real, East West are just a couple to mention. You've never heard of them because they're not mainstream. Alot of mainstream is garbage. Except for 3 Doors Down They actually know how to do rock!!! Fricken get back to your roots son and figure out what rock is! ZZ Top made it into the hall of rock with their riff from the song Le Grange!

Now I believe whole heartedly that the song that SHOULD have been played to finalise the Olympics is; We're in this together now by Nine Inch Nails. One of the greatest songs ever made. Nickelback have more HATERS then they do have fans. We're the ones trying to drive their sales DOWN so we don't have to listen to them in the future! Sure they reached an audiance, but the world still agrees. THEY SUCK!!!

I hate the same repetitivness of them singing song regarding some form of sexual missconduct towards women. It's alot easier to hate them then it is to like them. Those are some pretty good reasons why I don't like Nickelback. And from the bands that I support, they just plain suck.

I agree with Pfaaaaa! and a reason why they would lip sync at an event like this is so everything runs smoothly and they can stick to a time schedule. And as for the style of chad's singing, this sounds verrrrry thick, suggesting that he would have had to put alot of effort in his vocals to get that agression, but its clearly a pre-recorded voice and yes its rather simple to replace words and alll that stuff, why do you think there are radio edits, so its more friendly on other ears.

Just so you guys are aware, as a musician in a family full of musicians, we were all watching Kroeger in dislike to tell if he was lip syncing. And he wasn't. I've seen him sing without a life and his vocal style is easy for him to find the pitch for.

This isn't lip synced. As much as I am not a fan of nickelback, you got to give them credit for their (usually) great live shows.

Yea i agree with you two to some extent, although i highly believe that sections of this vocal performance is not live, its something you can just hear, that being the difference between a studio and live sound. As a singer, i know that when singing live you have a great dynamic control whereas this clip shows a more constant and studio-like sound. In saying this, i am a fan of Nickelback, so im not out to just rip them because i dont like them.

He uses an EQ and he only moves away from the mic when he has to get louder. That's how a singer works. If they have to go louder they step back. Chad uses an EQ to correct this. It wasn't lip synced.
