  • Let's resume this:

When The Unstoppable Force meets The Immovable Object, then a gnome die.

But, according to the GM, during that encounter, Chuck Norris dies as well.

So, what that mean is that:

    Chuck Norris = Gnome!

  • I thought they just trade places.

  • @NeverThat Why does that make way more sense than only one of them existing?

  • Better question would be, what happens when a warrior with Titan's Grip equips The Unstoppable Force AND The Immovable Object, then duels another warrior with the same setup?

  • Therefore defeating defeating the whole purpose of Einsteins Theory of Relativity and Newtons 3 Laws. Hope this explains something for you.

  • It logically IS impossible for both to exist in the same universe. But if they were then the unnstoppable object would be traveling at the speed of light. As you all should know, when you move at the SOL time stands still. So then when the objects hit the unstoppable object stops but then time starts again and then the immovable object moves...but wait where's the transfer of momentum? There is none because for there to be momentum there needs to be time.

  • So the sheild wins? cos the sheild didnt move, but time froze and stopped the weapon... and a gnome apparently absorbed all the unstopablness x3

p.s. Your an epic troll :D

  • this is funny :P

  • i thought that would have been helpful, but it was a complete waste of my time

  • @epiceverydayguy I thought this comment would have been interesting, but it was a complete waste of my time.

  • Two doubts:

    1) Why did I find this video by typing "Heskey Chuck Norris"? Is Emile Heskey an immovable object?

2)Why can this shield be carried around if it is an immovable object?

  • With my last comment said, I forgot to mention that I'd love to see a live-action rendition of this anomalistic phenomenon carried out, at a safe distance of course, between thermonuclear fusion (the "Unstoppable Force" in reality), and of something (anything) which is physically known to resist disintegration upon contact with the strong nuclear force (whatever it is, it must represent the "Immovable Object" proportionately & legitimately). Such an act would answer the question in perpetuity!

  • this reminds me of a funny & good ol' ancient Chinese proverb I learned from my mother once... (*scratches chin while contemplating the anomalies of the univers*) ...of course, such anti-natural nonsense can only be made possible because we all live in a universe governed more by the laws of chaos & entropy than by the "laws" of logic. Somehow it's always true that fact is stranger than fiction!

  • Okay. New question. The immovable solid object VS the unstoppable moving solid object.

  • What the fuck is this I wanted Jane's Addiction not stupid ass questions god damn it fucking trolls

  • The answer to the question 'What happens when an unstoppable force hits an immovable object?' can finally be answered if Chuck Norris punches himself in the face.

  • Love the Goldeneye song. Best game ever.

  • how the f**k did i end up here...

  • But if the object is immovable, how is one able to carry it around?

  • Wikipedia is correct, if such a force could exist, the immovable object could not exist, and of such an object exist, such a force could not exist, an object is defined but what it can do, if there is an object in the universe that can not be moved by this force, it is not unstoppable, if there is a force in this universe that the object could not resist, it is not immovable, simple logic. Only one could exist in the same universe.

  • As this paradox ignores most the rules of physics, it is quite pointless. But obviously IF it in some way could happen that an Unstoppable Force would meet an Immovable Object, the energy would create a black hole, thus devouring everything around, including the Force and the Object.

But the Paradox was created to question god. If he were to create an immovable stone, would he be able to move it? In this Paradox God is the IF and the stone he creates is the IO.

  • i love the goldeneye music haha

  • well imovable objects are impossible and so is unstoppable forces in a finite universe so why are people arguing?

  • Wow, I haven't heard the theme music to Nintendo 64's Agent 007 in years. Thanks for that piece of music in the video. It made it worth while, lol.

  • What if the immovable object is immoveable because its not tangible

  • Hahaha! "You dumb sack of shit" Made me lol irl

  • LMFAO!!!! 0:22 I THINK I DIED

  • WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU CALLIN' ME A DUMB SACK OF SHIT FOR YOU DOUGE BAG!!!! >:(((((

  • What happens when an invincible object meets a Blendtec Blender? Now that's the real question.

  • Its not impossible. the result of the action is simply unknown. Calling the unknown impossible is the greastest failure of science. As a hammer strikes a anvil a reaction is created by both parties. just because we can't comprehend the reaction or the action itself does'nt mean the result does not exist. Untill the result of the action is confirmed logic has no place. To say the USF vs. IMO is impossible, is to say god exists or does not. It's unknown. Any answers are ignorance/arrogance.

  • The unstoppable force would pass straight through if it was energy, and go around in any other circumstances. Should the immovable object span an infinite distance, both will be obliterated, with an explosion coming back from where the immovable object was. Therefore the immovable object is not moved, just destroyed, and the force is then blown backward and carrys on moving.

    Problem solved

  • @1812jacko yes man ive also said it like this before to people who aint that bright that cant figure it out, the unmovable object is not unbrekable

  • @1812jacko Your answer is the embodiment of the failure of science. You do not know the result nor can you comprehend it. Your entire explanation fails. Does your comprehension of destruction not coincide with movement? The object can not be moved yet desruction (DE-CON-STRUC-TION) requires movement. You can say the USF can pass through the IMO but our logic tells us something must give.

  • Goldeneye-music for the fucking win

  • The force goes around it, duh.

  • +1 for music.

  • The only thing good about this video is Mario music.

  • James bond musix from then N64 game SWEET

  • The logical answer is that they go through each other.

  • Since the Immovable object has infinite inertia and the Unstoppable object has infinite momentum this is what will happen when they collide: Both their powers that i mentioned will try to overcome one of the other but since they are both infinite it will look like they are clinging to each other and no action will ever be completed. ever.

  • U do know that the hole thing with this is that the can't do anything to each other but sacrificing the "immovable object" or the "unstopable force" will destroy the other

  • "I've searched everywhere and no one has any logical answer."

So the logical answer is that a gnome dies in the middle of the impact. Yeah, that makes much sense! 1+1=3!

  • There really should be a thing for april 1st, where if the mace actually struck the shield in game, both players would be disconnected before the swing made contact. XD

  • That's not a gnome that's Chuck Norris.

  • But wait, the force was stopped, but the object wasn't moved in this video. Because time froze as you said so the force was stopped but the object wasn't moved. So this can't be right too.

  • They surrender. - Superman.

  • wouldnt the unstoppable force just bounce off? it wouldnt stop...and the immovable object wouldnt move...

  • @smallmanification in this case no, when people say unstoppable force, the force is generally depicted in one and only one direction

  • @smallmanification In order for the unstable force to bounce off the immovable object, the energy needs to convert within the immovable object to bounce off according to the laws of physics energy cannot be created or destroyed, as this happens, the molecules within the immovable object is moved, therefore it's not an immovable object, therefore it will not just bounce off.

  • THE UNSTOPPABLE OBJECT WILL BOUNCE OF IT!!!!!!!

  • @NickJ95GB In order for the unstable force to bounce off the immovable object, the energy needs to convert within the immovable object to bounce off according to the laws of physics energy cannot be created or destroyed, as this happens, the molecules within the immovable object is moved, therefore it's not an immovable object, therefore it will not just bounce off.

  • BURNT ON CHEESE

  • if TUF and TIO did coexist with each other and they were to meet in this universe the end result will be that they would destroy each other cuz TUF has infinite mass and can truck shit and TIO dont take no shit so they explode because it was a external conflict not some they pass through each other... they are not ghost... but seriously since TUF has infinite mass inf atoms so inf explosion....TIO is just fat and just doesnt move

  • when the irresistible force meets the immovable object, they both surrender!

  • now I can die happy ...

  • Logic wise, I always believed that since one is unstoppable and one is immovable, they won't give half a fuck about it. Unstoppable force bothers it once, fails to move it and takes its business elsewhere, and Immovable object receives force, is not moved and continues to be stationary.

  • OMG Yoshi ftw

  • what kind of retard made this?!

    haha lmfao!

  • actually what that guy said about the two passing through each other is true

The unstoppable force is just kinetic energy and if it is unstoppable energy

(note :energy is not a solid force) then it will just pass through any object even if that object was to be unmovable

this is actually a poor example but a funny video

  • Unstoppable Force vs Immovable Object: Solution? The Immovable Object simply deflects the Unstoppable Force. The force was never stopped, and the object was the never moved.

  • Dude N64 nostalgia music much?

  • This is an exercise in logic. If an unstoppable force exists, then an immovable object cannot exist, because it would be able to be moved by the unstoppable force, and vice versa.

  • This music had me crying of nostalgia.. where the fuck does it come from? SUPER SMASH BROTHER FOR N64? =S

  • i always thought that if they DO exist irl they would be like Ghost Particles. one can't be moved and can't be stopped. there all happy!

  • lol, I am the "dumass" in that video :P

I played alot of d2 at that time so my sig was a mockery towards the usual german you meet ingame.

I spelled "which" wrong cause I type to fast :P

  • it's like gravity. all it needs is a little push.

  • @jsjrlproductions why so serious..?

  • your a total idiot.

    =]

  • If it's an immovable object, HOW IS THAT WARRIOR MOVING IT TO BLOCK?

  • @Irodio You don't move the Immovable Object. The Immovable Object moves you.

  • @ropmop1 in soviet russia anyways

  • @Irodio So stupid...thumbs down. Americans...

  • @Irodio the object is moving the warrior to block!.. simple!

  • @Irodio Because they are awesome enough to move the immoveable?

  • Well if anyones looking for at-least a reasonable argument:

If... (however impossible it is to have both "by-definition" objects/forces exist in one universe... there would be an endless transfer of energy; The Immovable Object with infinite inertia will resist all force implied by The Unstoppable Force which has infinite momentum, and therefore the endless transfer of energy...

  • He's climbin' in your windows, he's snatchin yo people up.

Tryna rape 'em so y'all need to hide yo kids, hide yo wife, hide yo kids, hide yo wife, hide yo kids, hide yo wife.

And hide your husband, cuz they're rapin' errybody out here.

You don't have to come and confess, we're lookin' for you.

We gon find you, we gon find you.

So you can run and tell that, run and tell that, run and tell that, homeboy, home, home, homeboy.

  • ik that this wasn't meant to be a serious video but what would happen if a unstoppable force would contact an immovable object suspecting that both exist and can be in the same universe would be: the same thing that happens with a large rock in a river the water flows around the force would not be stopped and the object would not be moved

  • @Holidow

the fact is neither one exists IRL, an unstoppable force or immovable object would both require infinite inertia and/or mass, and in a finite universe, nothing can possibly have infinite *anything*.....except Chuck Norris...

  • @BitsInAByte It's all in theory mate..

  • That is NOT an immovable object, I call shenanigans. He clearly wears it on his arm WHILE HE MOVES TO BLOCK, THUS IT IS LIES.

Excellent choice of music though, Super Smash Bros., Goldeneye, and then Mario Kart 64. Very nice.

  • the short answer that i have heard many times is. The Paladin wins.

  • Unstoppable force vs. Immovable object = BURNT ON CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wat does immovable and unstoppable mean exactly. Unstoppable is easy but the whole problem with this paradox is the concept of being "immovable" .. either ur latched into something (e.g. ground) or u have some serious density in which case if something hits u, the force exerted can be so great it shatters the ground, causing the object 2 fall. can it still be called "immovable"? because it withstood the impact of w/e hit it.. and at the same time did actually move in terms of location in space

  • BURNT ON CHEESE

  • Stupid troll video is stupid troll video.

  • i think the force would go through the object so the force hasnt moved and the object hasnt stopped

  • BURNT ON CHEESE

  • This is retarded.

  • BURNT ON CHEESE

  • Thanks for this video. Now i understand my marriage better.

  • @denplaza made me lol, wondering which one of u is immovable and which is unstoppable

  • @1Dt88 we took turns :)

  • @denplaza

The woman is the immovable object, the woman is the unstoppable force. Man is the gnome

  • there cant be an immovable object in existance with unstopable force.

  • I still believe theirmeeting caused the Cataclysm.

  • I personally believe that the Unstoppable Force would phase through the Immovable Object like the silver surfer.

  • Bias is not a step in the ladder to learning. :P

  • The unstoppable force does not "stop", the immovable object does not move : the unstoppable force ricochets off the immovable object

You didn't add that one.. you left it out. :3 lol bias

  • @XSkullxTotenKopfX but to ricochet, it actually does stop literally for a millisecond, rebounding off the material and starting back again at a diminished amount of energy, so it does stop, just not that long. thus it cannot.

  • And that is what is known as SCIENCE!

  • I recognize that music... GoldenEye or Perfect Dark.

  • when an unstoppable force hits an immovable object, the unstoppable force becomes the immovable object while the immovable object becomes the unstoppable force. its a cycle that will be locked in a continuum for eons.

  • Maybe someone should of fucking tried it out instead of asking questions

  • lol

"Too bad I've already tried that website, you dumb sack of sh*t."

  • implosion of the universe

  • Um nobody said these objects were imposible to destroy. They would Prolly just explode

  • Immovable object didn't move when time froze.

    Unstoppable force "stopped".

    Immovable object won.

  • It's an amazing paradox because there can't be an unstoppable force if there is an immovable object and vice versa so i don't think both of these objects can exist in the same universe

I THINK I JUST NAILED IT!

  • nice james bond facility music

  • ...I am born!

  • when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object CHANGE happens!

  • the paradox may be simple, if nothing can pass through an immovable object, the unstoppable force can't either because nothing can. the force will simply stop at the barrier still trying to force itself through forever. its like when you are holding a plate under a water stream. the water stream is never strong enough to break the plate but the water will never stop streaming until someone turn the water of.

  • lol the answer is simple... there has only been time when there was an unstoppable object and an immovable object was here and in that time ,when thay collided...the result was ....the Big Bang.

  • i say they would pass through

  • There is no such thing as either. Idiots.

  • @TonyAirlines gravity is still a theory, you think people care about your comment, sarah jessica parker may be a foot wearing makeup. its called a HYPOTHETICAL question

  • @Odood19 Ah. I see.

  • @TonyAirlines Now it is proven that sarah jessica parker's face really IS a foot, sorry

  • but what if you Dual wielded unstoppable forces and did a crit? the gnome would disintegrate and there would still be some left over.

  • The bible says that Chuck Norris is The unstoppable force and the immovable object at the same time!

  • L O L

  • BURNT ON CHEESE

  • Proo....

  • i like how to have a soundtrack from Super Smash Bros and 007 Goldeneye

  • TIO would have to be of Infinite mass and be able to absorb infinite energy.

TUF would have to give off infinite energy, in theory the 2 cannot exist in the same universe.

But should they some how meet, they would stand still, seemingly at rest but actually transferring infinite energy, creating a shockwave so immense that it would rip apart the fabric of time and space apart. So not stopping time, but destroying it.

  • @Uchihaman1234 wow u can read wikipedia oO

  • and plus dont u think the tuf would go through tio and tio would just stay there i dont know though im not smart

  • well that was a big waste of time

  • Nobody likes gnomes anyway >:)

  • and that is why i don't play wow

  • Haha the 007 song on the map facailty

  • I like it when you flame some guy and tell him to "learn2spel".........

You should learn how to _spell_

  • @Cream4uX Acutally, he said 'lern2spel'. As in he was joking lol

  • wouldn't that happens technically be that the unstoppable force wasn't so unstoppable and gets downgraded to the shitty "stoppable force" gray drop after hitting the immovable object, making the immovable object superior? :p

  • any idea whats the name of the first song? oO

  • @AZURE0zodiac It's taken from an old Yoshi game. I think it's the one for the N64, but it might also be the SNES games.

  • @AZURE0zodiac It's actually from Yoshi's Island (Super Mario World 2) SNES that version may be from Super Smash Brothers or i suppose it coudl be from Yoshi Story on the N64 which is just a rehash of the song from Yoshi's Island

  • I Believe that this was originally a joke, but before the punchline was going to be delivered about what happens, the man died. Therefore the answer is forever lost with him.

  • EPIC another wow mystery answered ;)

  • WTF XDDDDd

  • Realistically neither can exist at the same time. For example, if an unstoppable force were to exist, then it could move everything, therefore nothing would be 'immovable' and vice versa. However, in theory, an immovable object would have infinite mass, therefore collapse under it's own gravity. An unstoppable force would have to have infinite energy, which would be impossible if it had to co-exist with and immovable object.

  • @torakrubik Well, if it was immovable, it wouldn't collapse, now would it?

  • @fukinheavymetal yes, it would

  • @torakrubik This is just kindof lame discussing, so if you reply to this post I wont reply again. If it collapses, it moves right? And if its immovable it cant move/collapse.

  • @fukinheavymetal *sigh* thats the point. if it collapses, which it would, it would be movable

  • LMAO

  • is this the Yoshi Island song? :)

  • How about when the unstoppable force meets the immoveable object the opposites happen the logical thing would be they would counter act the effect there for cancelling each other out making the unstoppable force stop and the unmoveable object move then there names would be lost to the world blah blah blah they should then just become normal objects

  • the unstoppable force hitting the imovable object would be Chuck Norris hitting himself

  • hahaha. brilliant

  • @XsocialdestructionX i knew a lame ass cn joke would be highest rated

  • @XsocialdestructionX But in order for chuck norris to hit himself he must move, meaning he cannot be immovable.

  • @TehZorzGuy

If Chuck Norris can do half the things we say he can do, then he sure as hell can be immovable and still move...........motherfucker...

  • get cancer fuckin nerd

  • lol unstoperble force is water youknow? try overflowing a sealed box? it cant happend :o water cant be destroyed ;o ever when you drink it you just pee it out again ¬_¬

  • Haha, awesome vid, good old wow times =)

  • i'm just throwing this out there, but if the unstoppable force were to pass through the immovable object losing no speed, and the immovable object stayed in exactly the same position, doesn't that satisfy both parts of the problem?

  • it cant*

  • acualy in order for the unstoppable force to bounce off the immovable object it has to come to a complete stop before it can start moveing back. it can just go from moveing forward to automaticaly moveing backward without comming to a complete stop first there fore ur logic is broken

  • Actually it is very possible for an Unstoppable Force and an Immovable Object to come into contact with each other. They do not conflict with one another. If an Unstoppable Force were to meet an Immovable Object the force would not be stopped and the Object would not be moved. The Unstoppable Force CAN BE MOVED just not STOPPED. Newton's 3rd Law of Motion states that when one body exerts a force on a 2nd body, the 2nd body exerts an equal and opposite force. Thus Deflection and/or Repulsion!

  • lol

  • wat is the name of the first song? ^^
