I like the way the rear number plate isn't even on straight in the advert. This tells you everything you need to know about Vauxhall cars in the 80's. They even filmed it on a deserted road as it would have been too dangerous to drive that thing near other people.

The Cavalier was shit. The Calibra was much better and even to this day it's a good car, we had a 16v 2 litre turbo a few years back and it fuckin' flew - the boy racers were just a dot in the rear view mirror.
