This was my thought pattern:

0:12-036: 'hmmm, sounds alright.'

0:39-1:05: 'Holy fuck, this is AWESOME!'

1:06-onwards: 'Ahh, NOW I can hear the original a bit more!'

GREAT job, man! BTW, I don't know if this is intentional, but the way you're standing and with the camera that close to you, you actually LOOK like a deformed Silent Hill monster! It's actually a really eerie, awesome effect that adds to the atmosphere of the song/movie.
