I think he has some memory laps here. There´s definitely one on 1:41-42, he starts in the wrong position in the left hand and then corrects it by starting the figure over again. Lovely playing nevertheless :-)
Can someone tell me what he does with the left hand between 0:23 and 0:30? It certainly is not in the original score. In other parts as well. Even Scriabin's recording of this differs completely from the written score.

I love the way he delineates the harmonic structure and yet the piece just seems to melt with ecstasy.

usually i'll just listen to horowitz's rendition, but try listening to heinrich neuhaus's one...it will blow people away<3
