(As a veteran - old school club-Dj) I played the original Babe Ruth version of this in clubs in 72/73', but gotta' admit, when this "Bombers" re-make surfaced about 78/79', it became one of my fav build-up tunes before the climax (orgasm) of a 4 to 6 hour set... That said, I would still use this piece of music in a club near you today...
@renaissancemann I second that. What a mix. As a fellow jock from back in the day I was and still am addicted to EP'S. Don't laugh but this track, 2 hot for love, jumbo and many others allowed us to walk away from the turntables for bathroom breaks. YOU know I'm right. lol. The days of crossover networks and direct drives. 1 love!
A "gem" in my collection! Cannot believe that after nearly thirty-three years, I still have this classic in my crate of treasure. Memories of school-yard jams in the neighborhoods of Bushwick, Brooklyn!
