@thenuyy C.S. Lewis meant Aslan to be a metaphor for Jesus, though. Aslan giving up his life for Edmund is a metaphor for Jesus dying for the sins of the world.

The uncle is from the first book the magican's Nephew who essentially helped create narnia and brought the white witch there.

Whenever I feel like its the end, Whenever I feel Like Im going to give up, I read the first book of Narnia. Its so magical. Almost real. And I escape to that place where I can do anything. And when I come back, I come back with the renewed feeling that I can do anything. Narnia has helped me. In many ways.

The Narnia series was probably one of those most influential book series of my life. I have huge respect for C.S Lewis and if we ever build a time machine would very much like to meet him because Narnia is like our world cept with magic and the god is a lion called Aslan. Brilliant idea!
