Now, in my opinion the atmosphere was amazing, but as a short film it was entirely incomplete. 3 people walk somewhere, 2 get blown up and the other one calls for help. The end. Wow. Why even bother with characters? Just make a video that's a walkthrough of this amazing atmosphere you created, or finish what you started.

A great short film made by some exceptional talent.A good& believable cast too.Post Apocalptic Great Britain or Northern Ireland,I think,as two soldiers are armed with SA80 assault rifles.Not so sure on the battle fatigues though.

I wonder if he'll do Akira. This was visually amazing, considering he did most of the graphics too. The plot leaves a little to be desire. It was basically just a visual orgasm, but it leaves me uncertain if he's capable of conveying emotion, working with actors, and creating good convincing diaogue that will engage a viewer. I have high hopes for Akira and talented though Robinson seems, he is still unproven. Perhaps, he is very capable. If he directs it, I certainly hope so!!!

Would love a full length film too! The CGI is pretty good and IMO there is no good movie covering this kind of theme.

But there is one thing I don't get, when the soldier with the glasses speaks to the wounded comrade he says that he ''got the sniper''. But he didn't. The sniper was shooting from a building several stories high and they couldn't locate him.

They were talking about the sniper they THOUGHT were in the tower (the dead guy holding a scoped rifle reflecting the sun)..

That's why they got to the ground in the first place and well.. Died.

Amazing short, btw., focused heavily on the GREAT effects and the great gore..

@GerminatorXL I don't know much about bombs, but I imagine the initial blast launched them forwards and then the force of the explosion caught their legs as they shielded their faces. Did Cillian lose his legs? I thought it was just the commander person.

Great video/audio, loved the story line (i think), great cgi/ effects. I loved the guy's leg how it was all blown apart.

Acting could improve a tad bit and at one point when the guy with the glasses was talking on the radio he puts the mic up to his ear while talking... don't know what that was about.
