  • LMN lesion!

  • How can people find this funny? I have it and it's actually quiet annoying; you have it for the rest of your life...

  • hi , i have the same problem now , Which appeared 11 years ago , please what is the solution, help me

  • I get these often but I actually kind of like them for some reason lol.

  • Please, everyone, make sure you get tested for Lyme disease. If you have it, it can be treated with antibiotics.

  • I get it in my thighs :(

  • LAWL

as i sit here and watch this my fucking bicep/tricep is twithing like a bitch! -.-

    HAHAHAH funniest thing i swear

  • You could probably use some magnesium. Cook yourself some dark leafy greens with a banana for potassium. Most people are deficient in both, and it will probably help. It certainly can't hurt to get more veggies...

  • I put up a website where people that have these twitches can congregate and post videos. fasciculations webs com

    We show NO shame.

  • . ncbi.nlm.nih . gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001708/

if you know the scientific name of your spasms then u probably know about this already

  • hey man, did you check your vit D?, chronic deficiency can cause muscle twitching...

  • did u rule out amyotrophic lateral sclerosis? it may present with fasciculations.

  • try vitamins B complex and E

  • if a body part starts twitching and does not go away you might have muscle cancer D:

  • @WDMinecraft very funny

  • i get these all over my body. i friggin haaaate it.

  • Well, I don't need a neurologist since it stopped after 4 days .

    I'm happy now :D

But still, it was quite scary when my arm did that and I still wonder why it happened:/

  • fasciclation in medicine is lesion in anterior horn cell in spinal cord so it is odd that they done a nerve conduction studies. neurologist should investigate your spinal cord at level of c5 and c6.

    Best wishes

  • I get these in all kinds of odd places. I've even had one on the end of my tongue, the side of my nose, very corner of my mouth on my cheek, my forehead/ eyebrow. Never lasts long except the one on my tongue. That lasted 2 months.

  • Is it dangerous? :O

My arm does that too :/

  • @heste1234 Fasciculations are one sign of Lower motor nerve damage. along with hypo-reflexia/ areflexia, hypotonia, and flaccid paralysis. If you note any one or more of the above then I suggest you seek the advice of a neurologist.

  • Radiation and microwaves, household toxins and building materials used on older homes are all capable of causing nerve damage as well as other destruction to the body. Thankfully the body is capable of healing itself, so once the source of pollution is removed, your body has a chance to gradually recover....but if the destructive source remains in your presence, forget it - you'll only get worse and worse and recovery will be impossible, so do what you must to get your good health back!

  • Oftentimes it is due to a spinal or vertebrae injury which in turn causes nerve damage, and that is why muscles are twitching. There are multitudes of long spindly nerves that branch out of each vertebra in the spinal column and they travel to every part of the body. Depending where the vertebra damage is, you are going to have twitches where those particular damaged nerves reach to. And there may be other causes for the twitching muscles, such as toxins absorbed, inhaled, or ingested, etc.

  • do you still have it :) im here to brother :P fasciculations mainly my hands buzzing feelings alot lately they keep changing up use to be alot in calves now alot are in my hands wich are very annoying :) they move my fingers make them shake. also under tension my muscles shake some days its better some days it worse :-) gonna go get a check up with a neurologist in januari :D pretty long but then again then i have em almost 2 years they reached their prime :( :D hope they can help it soon

  • Continued from below: Outcome after all the tests, Sensory predominant axonal generalised large fibre polyneuropathy, idiopathic as no cause has been found.

Now on Gaapentine, Amitriptyline and Quinine Sulphate, mainly under control but I have my shit days

  • Welcome to my world mate...I have been like this for nearly three years now. It reached an alltime high when my heart (a muscle) started having problems and I had three simulated hart attacks in as many months, don't panic thats rare I'm told. Of course there was little or no help until I had a megga muscle spasium followed by extream cramp causing me to come close to death along with everybody else I nearly hit in my car...

  • i get these on my shoulder blade muscles, and also my kneecap. its...unsettling

  • It could be Hirayama Disease.

  • you should be fine. i hope.

  • I get this when I drink a lot of alcohol

  • i got them for year and a half maybe longer and .. mostly in calfs or legs somethimes arms back stomach face, altough the face is very RARE. and in the upper body it is very rare

  • @HylianFury not in rare as in once a month but ^^ only 100 a day lol xD somethimes less somethimes more

  • It is usually due to fatigue, stress, lack of sleep, environmental toxins (fumes or something in your car or in the air), vitamin deficiency, crazy airwaves (radio towers, cellular towers everywhere, giant telephone poles and cables), bad foods, lack of healthful aerobic exercise, lack of deep rest and relaxation, poison from something. Correct everything mentioned above & they'll go away. You may have to buy a new car, move to another house, go on a long vacation, etc.

  • @freeziebeeb

lol why wouldnt my neurologist say this ?

  • ugh this happens to me too. its so freaking annoying, isn't it? for a while i kept feeling paranoid i had some fatal disease, but the doc said its nothing, of course.

  • It's sometimes caused by vitamin B12 deficiency, as well as a deficiency in magnesium. Get your blood analyzed for deficiencies and/or other maladies

  • @freeziebeeb

you didnt read his text he already had EMG's and blood exam i have it also but mine are not 24/7 more like every 10 minute i got one it scares me.

i had them for a year now first i didnt care for them cuz i just tought it just muscle contractions but then a week ago i went to a neurologist for my back cuz i got a stuck nerve in my left leg cause of a hernia. and he said well do a EMG

EMG came back normal but this still doesnt rule out ALS or such So i am afraid :)

  • @HylianFury I replied in this comments page.

  • this is some new fetish or what

  • this isnt like rlly bad is it? i get em regulary \. i dont pay any mind to it though

  • I have these in my left bicep area, did go to the doctor and after 6 MRI's, EMG's and blood-work still don't know whats causing mine so I'm trying the natural way to get rid of mine. Pretty sure majority of time they are benign faciculations.

  • Fasciculations are caused by a whole host of issues including totally benign causes...I personally have fasciculations which I was told was 'nothing' for years until I became weak...and for me it turned out to be mitochondrial disease. Hope yours just stay benign!

  • fatigue

  • Twitching is caused by

    stress

    caffeine

    Magnesium

    ADD medications

unless there is a more serious symptom (like pain associated with twitch) its just benign and its fine

  • do you have any muscle atrophy or wasting? (decrease in diameter of arm or other affected muscles?)

  • ugh, i get these in my legs..especially in my right leg. sometimes they're so bad it keeps me up all night...ive been having fasciculations all over my body since a few months ago..they just WONT go away. :(:(

  • Any luck finding a diagnosis?

  • i get them in every part of my body.. even my temples! its so werid.. sometimes the ones in my knees feel like a huge surge of energy going in , moving around and then going out,

  • Fatty Oxidation Disorders ???

  • L-Carnitin Mangel??? (Sorry I am German)

  • Enjoyed watching you twitching and knowing that there shouldn't be anything wrong with you. Huge fasciculations you have there!

  • Hey, If you have a lot of caffeine intake. Or do you take medication for ADD? Or, do you take magnesium pills or vitamins that may be high in Mag? if so then these things cause twitching to happen in the muscles.

  • hey! if you search up "fasciculation diagnosis" on youtube, i think two results come up about people who had similar symptoms as you. it turned out they had CPT II deficiency. maybe you have that too? it took a while for them to get the diagnosis.

  • I have these all over my body now its so creepy because it progressed from parts of my body to all over and now Its just makes me feel a bit paranoid. I want to go to the doctor but Im always to scared to schedule cause I dont know what will happen if it turns out to be something bad. I get through my legs my stomach arms recently ive had in my pinky toe, and my lip, and jaw muscles have been more recent its so creepy. Im afraid to tellmy family because its been going on for like 3 years.

  • go to the doctor! what if its something that is treatable and you're just letting it progress further?
