  • I would have just found it offensive for the reason that the awkward situation was showing the 1 white guy among a stadium of black people. if they had maybe showed a diversity of people. from black and white wearing one team jersey, and him wearing the opposite jersey. then I would say that would have been better. it's the fact. they used color as the selling point instead of the 2 different team jersey's. I have seen worse out there. it just wasn't thought through before making the comercial

  • 4:07 Nearly cried laughing, All the talk of chicken, then the exasperated chicken crow sounding "fuck". That was beautiful.

  • I agree with practically every point you made but i dont see how the hey hey its saturday black face sketch is racist. not trying to cause an arguement i just want a better understanding

  • Incdian Cricket Team will Rise Again

After Drinking their Special SODA Drink :) lolx

  • THANK YOU! so much thank you. bout time someone rants on some relavant shit XD

  • Right on with this. Gotta love how Americans think they are the center of the universe & everyone believes what they believe. They suffer from a severe case of HUYAS & give themselves a bad name with the rest of the world. Wish I could say I wasn't American most days...

  • Americans only see american - what else would you expect?

  • Hee, hee, hee. Now, do you want to say on your mind.

  • You think this guy doth protest a wee bit too much?

  • Americans made up the concept of race to justify enslaving Africans. The British made up class and Indians Caste. The yanks that objected to this totally misunderstood it based on their own ignorance. If they knew anything about cricket they'd realise that West Indian supporters would take it as a compliment.

  • i was LMAO the whole time. what you said man is true. i watch all your videos. and all i got to say is you kick ass!. good job man:)

  • @nyheen Cheers

  • I think he's angry :|

  • I like this guy's enthusiasm

  • so thats what it looks like when someone gets stressed about chicken lol but yeah i agree

  • ten thumbs up dude.. just cause the farken yanks dont have a clue shouldnt mean we should pull our tv ads which are humour based..

    IT WASNT FUCKEN RACIST ! ! !

  • I actually found this hilarious. Racism is and will always be there everywhere but got to agree with AngryAussie on this one. Telling anything racist without thinking is totally fucked up!!

  • You're fucking hilarious!! I couldn't help but laugh the way through. Thanks I caught this from a mate. Similar humours. :)

  • Wow most yanks are dumb.

  • @MrNintoku sounds like a stereotype, eh, mate?

  • @sindbad7cs

Oh you get a few smart ones here and there but you look at who they vote in, not on merit but due to religious piety shows how intelligent most are.

  • @MrNintoku well, we're not perfect like so many other countries out there seem to want to think they are, and yet, no other country seems to have the streams and streams of people wnating to come in legally and illegally and tell us how their culture is so great even as they run away from their country...

  • the KFC ad that I can't stand is that one where that guy is looking through his fridge for leftovers and his future self appears and tells him to go buy KFC to impress his date , who the fuck would want a girl that's impressed by you buying KFC lol

  • The ad is racist b/c it's brilliant international marketing. You do a kickass tirade, btw

  • This guy is the fucking man. he is 100% fucking correct.

  • dont now if youll read this but have you seen the youngturks vid bout this add i meen the fucking girl is such a fucking bitch she calles them african american when there west indies or just supporters

  • i FUCKING LOVE YOU

  • Brilliantly done!

  • mate you made my day, had to watch this twice

  • the indian student/black face rage is caused by people thinking all us aussies are racist. that is what pisses me off about the situation.

  • What does he say around 2:30 about a real racist stereotype, can't make it out.

"Guy had passed around a flag in a goon?"

    What?

  • @lolsuperbowl He says "Flagon of goon" which is slang for a quanity of cheap wine.

  • @lolsuperbowl

    no, flagon of goon

  • @lolsuperbowl :P Guessing your not a aussie hahaha

  • Thanks for using your viewer base to rage for me.

  • I got a racist ad idea, fish and chips in a commercial next to brits.

    lmao

  • i was just watching a clip by "The Young Turks" about how racist this was (they also show a widely open to interpretation, shortened version) and DAMN!! While they may think their goals are noble, they are so clueless about the world outside America that their views hold little value to any intelligent person, racist or otherwise.

  • FRIED FUCKING CHICKEN!!!

  • "if hed passed around the ganga" ha ha he certainly would have made friends then and theyd of all got the munchies and gone for kfc so that could work lmao

  • In America we have plenty of stereo types, not only the fried chicken, but there is a bullshit stereotype that all black people use kool aid. When in reality, pretty much EVERYONE loves fucking kool aid. Just had to rant about that. My friend is black and always feels uncomfortable talking about kool aid or anything like it. Let people

Speak of kool aid and KFC in peace.

  • KFC deserves a sandwich

  • KFC deserves a sandwich.

  • Im an Aussie who lives in the US. Thanks to four years in this culture I've become aware of the black people/fried chicken stereotype.

Last year a friend visited from back home. I live in Vegas and we spent a lot of time busing to off-strip locations one day. At one point my mate asked what "Popeye's" was and I explained that it was a fried chicken with tasty food.

    continued next comment

  • Anyway, about 2 hours later we are on our way back to The Strip and we're running late for a show we have tickets for when the bus stops at a CROWDED stop where about 25 people, mostly black, board the bus.

I express confusion about why there are so many people boarding here, and my friend, armed with his new knowledge about Popeye's being tasty, enthusiastically shouts and points "It's because there's a Popeye's right there!" as black people file into the bus.

    He had no idea.

  • are australian beaches really filled with sharks i heard that you guys live with sharks, but idont believe that shit

  • @TheQaz95 Read the news. We get a few shark attacks every summer.

  • @AngryAussie ok cool, i might move there

  • @AngryAussie the fried chicken and black thing is a racial stereotype, but so is the whole watermelon thing in one of the really really old betty boop.

just look up racist betty boop..

This cartoon kinda speaks for itself:Russian stereotype black stereotype chinese stereotype.

  • @piromaniac9999 what's it got to do with Australia though? yeah good luck answering that question

  • @Hem3fiction Cause i was trying to show him the old betty boop that has some extremely racist stuff.

The one that has black babies singing hidehideho, which is a famous song called:Minnie the moocher by cab callaway.

Then you have the russian stereotype dancing, also a little racist if you ask me,then you got black kids eating watermelons.

  • @piromaniac9999 lol oh you struggled answering that question... wanna have another go?

The question is, what has it got to do with Australia?

This might help you, you might wanna avoid American stereotypes.

  • @Hem3fiction i didn't struggle, and my point is:He talks about racism and racist adds, well:The original betty boop has some racial stereotype against blacks.

And what is your reason for attacking me?

  • @piromaniac9999 lol you are struggling and i'm not attacking. I'm trying to give show you that Australians don't have the same racist connections Americans have.

I'll tell you, the African Americans have the connection with watemelon and chicken, not the West Indians.

  • @Hem3fiction As i said:I'm talking about racial stereotypes.Racial stereotypes shows ignorance of someone.

While sometimes some part of it can be true, all generalizations are wrong.

  • @piromaniac9999 not usually lack of ignorance, stereotypes are usually consistencies made with groups of people. But yes you are quite right it is wrong. I really don't like it when judgements are made on a single person because he is part of a group.

  • @Hem3fiction Lets take black american stereotype:Sure there are blacks who like fried chicken, but there are also a lot of white people who eat fried chicken too.

Or:Sure:There are black hoods who are in gangs and carry pistols, but there are also white hoods who do the exact same thing.with these generalizations:There are also educated people who got a degree and are well spoken, from both:Black and white area.

So:With a bit of truth, comes a bit of exaggeration as well.

  • @TheQaz95 haha yeah theres actually a ad for a doco about this place that hyave some of the most poisonous creatures in the world and is surrounded by by sharks, this place ....... is AUSTRALIA hahahahahahahah

Its true but its not like we cuddle a taipan whilst asleep and wrestle with crocs everyday.................... thats only on wednesdays hahahahahahah

  • Are those obama cookies? I've always wanted to bite that guy's head in half.

  • You're so right! If you havnt done so already Angry, can you make a video reffering racism, and how we as white people get attacked and abused for making comments with the word 'black', or how we cant joke around with black people because its "Racism" but they can do so with us.. Cause my opinion is that its total bullshit. I want to see your opinion on that and im sure alot of others do too.

  • "This is an ad... for chicken!!! In a summer when Australia will be playing the West Indies!!! How the fuck do you advertise that and not put chicken near black people!? What the fuck!?" I love you. That is all.

  • Do daz beez all raciss en sheeaaatttt??

  • LMFAOOO!!! THIS IS AWESOME SHIT HAHAHA!!!!! NICE WORK BRO! ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @BensonGuy24 Do you mean "Does making negative blanket statements about an entire race make me racist?"

    Only by the dictionary definition.

  • i love u man!!!!

i've watched a lot of ur videos and u are awesome!!!!

  • sounds like the crab off "beached az"

  • there two adds and one of them was the same guy in his house trying to watch the cricket and his flat mates (who are white) wont shut up. so he gives them some chicken. and they shut up. ummm THINK! actually there was like 5 adds made.

When i saw the windis add i just thought "i want some KFC and did Siddle get that last wicket" .

  • ahahhhhahah your a legend man

  • 'Protect black people from fried chicken' made me crack up. I think this was just people wanting to jump on the 'all Aussies are naive racists' movement inspired by the blackface morons and Indian immigration backlash.

  • Personally I never understood how a stereotype that says a people are meant to enjoy a particular food was offensive hell us Australians are meant to live on vegemite and barbecued Shrimp and most of us dont seem to care.

  • @qwer58j Ha! That's so true. America is so pansy with PC bullshit, yet they're the first ones to group Aussies with vegemite and "shrimp on the barbie" and Brits with fish and chips. But God forbid you guys put people with dark skin in the same comercial with fried chicken! *flails* *rolls eyes* My generation of Americans suck. On behalf of us with brains, I'm sorry.

  • lllooolll

  • After seeing the ad myself I cracked a smile. In terms of Aussie culture, no it's not racist. I can see where it would be construed that way... if the ad was shown here in the U.S.. What I have to wonder about though is why it was even an issue if this isn't considered racist in Australia. We didn't get it here in the U.S. so who bitched about it? I'm really curious about that. Anyway, it seems like Aussies know how to get people stirred up over race. LOL.

  • why cant you workout ?? tfu

  • this is a response to TheEnviroFriend and justinC504's comment, who says that america is always right, is it because u kill more of you own troops than "bad guys" when u go to fight a completely unnessesary war becuase one mans stick is bigger than the other, and how is what angryaussie saying racist, hes clearly making a point of whoever made up the fried chicken is racist thing is a total wanker, cause there is no relation between black people and fried chicken.

  • dude i totally like the point you're proving. you really know what you're talking about and you're backing it up so well that no on can disagree with you

  • Im American and if America say this is racist, then god lord of mighty this is RACIST!!!!!!!!.

    America is always right :)

  • Thats why america starts wars against anyone who is different, because we are always right!

(im being sarcastic just in case you are an idiot and didnt know)

  • @justinC504 Your an idiot. Your the country who started it, and its the only place in the world where it exists. Stop blaming us for your racism.

  • i agreee with u big time

  • Agree with anything. bunch of ignorant dumbasses... fuck em.

  • lol, I think it's also ignorant on the part of the American critics to assume that all people with dark skin are African-Americans

  • PREACH ON M8! RESPECT!

  • How the hell could someone call you racist? I've watched A LOT of your videos, probably more than is healthy in one sitting but you've never been racist in my opinion.

  • IT'S RACIST!!!!!!!

    LOL ^_^

  • @SirFoggy2Doped ur fucking stupid

  • @LinkinParkClub1 Oh bugger off!:p,Lol

  • @SirFoggy2Doped That's Not Funny, This Video Isn't Racist, Your Country Is Just Trying To Make Money Off This Stupid Story!!

  • @LinkinParkClub1 I could give a smeg about what my country is doing.

Let it dig its own grave:)

Anyway this is old shit but the commercial just seems odd and I'm starting to believe that maybe it's not racist because of all the massive insistence of the Aussies saying so...

  • I am an American of color (don't like the term African American, it negates my Carribean and Scotish heritage) I totally agree with you. People don't think.

The racisit fried chicken thing is stupid and never made sense. This is 2010 not 1910, we are so hypervigilant that we forget that there are other cultures in the world. The commercial made perfect sense for the situation. We need to grow up in America

  • @Meliyu you're a legend, couldn't put it any better

  • so true

  • lol that kfc ad, everyones seen it on tv like any other ad, the racism of the ad never even occurred to anyone until the yanks brought it up

and it still isn't nowhere near racist! wtf

man some people in the world are based on arse

  • God damn you had me in tears by 4:20

  • Would've liked it more if you wouldn't be screaming 80% of the time.

    Besides that, good point.

  • hahaha pause it at 1:39

  • A-friggin-men. I so didn't see it as racist at all. Even West Indi people didn't.

  • Don't Aussie's have a special diet? Like you have to stay away from trans fats and fried foods?

  • Lol Obama cookies?

  • Your a fucking legend mate.

  • so what if black people eat fried chicken

    everyone likes fried chicken

  • LMFAO SO TRUE I LUV IT

  • "HOW THE FUCK DO YOU ADVERTISE THAT AND NOT PUT CHICKEN NEAR BLACK PEOPLE!?" LMFAO!!!! lololololololol

great vid. I once worked at KFC. The stereotype isnt even true in america. MOstly it was white people and mexicans and asian and wookies buying our chicken. LMAO! I'm white and I eat fried chicken more than any black man I know! THe stereotype is STUPID ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You had me in stitches. Watching you go mental when you're angry is hilarious!

On a serious note, I agree with you on the chicken / black people front. I had no idea about that stereotype myself. If they took a step back and just looked at the product, you'd think they'd see it was supposed to be about the product, not a racially motivated advert.

  • damm this guy it fukn funny

  • I want some KFC now.......

  • Angry Aussie you are right on the KFC ad but wrong on the Hey Hey Skit

  • i laughhed sooo hard

  • fried chicken is fucking delicious!

  • Wow aussie you have to put up with some real ignorant assholes eh?

  • since it was a kfc advertisement that totaly makes sence. I'm not offended by it and i'm black.

  • i laughed so hard at this

  • @judoisoww oh my goodness. so did I lmao.

    Good video, Angry.

  • this is a brilliant video

  • great vid

  • Subbing for sure, absolutely hilarious and actually opened my eyes on the subject of the KFC add.

  • As usual I really enjoyed it mate. But I can hold the same arguement about the Hey Hey thing, and Harry connik USA telling us how to behave. Because The Jackson Five are Black! eg, they have black skin on their bodies! therfore wouldn't somebody dressed up as them be black????? It was a fucking parody, on a very 'never serious' tv show. As a whole Aussies used to be never serious either...but nonetheless we shall continue discussing this crap as though we have something 'wrong' with us to fix

  • I usually can't stand your rants, even when I agree with your sentiment (which is most of the time). But this is the most rational analysis of this ad on the web. (Sad but true). Well done.

  • Absolutely agree. Fucking people like to sit in their high chair and scream bloody murder. Stupid yanks.

  • The video looked very racist to me but now that u explained I understand but you don't have to get all made dude. this commercal should have never made to the US it does seem racist with out the explination.

  • Australia, please don't allow Political Correctness to take over your country like here in the US. PC makes you scared to say anything and emasculates you.

  • Good shit angry aussie well summed up in an angry but humorous context.

  • Americans that are that ignorant are ones to be ignored. They just have no intellect to be taken seriously or even heard. Hollywood is a good place to start ignoring. Heaps of morons there. New York and the mid south are more idiot hotspots. I used to work at Sydney International and I can tell you that Americans take the cake for being the most clueless tourists to hit the beaten track. They are especially AMAZED at our colorful money. Yeah, colors, amazing.

  • I've seen so many different ads for KFC here in Aus now and everyone of them have been white people who stop everything they do to eat chicken, but this one time where their black then suddenly it's racist? Pfft.

  • Angry Aussie how fucked up is MTV

  • I had to watch the ad twice before it dawned on me; Black people/fried chicken. Shows that if you look for it, racism can be found almost anywhere. I'm a 64 year old Afro-American man who likes fried chicken and (gasp) watermelon also. I was also raised in South Central LA and am a former gang member. Stereotypical? So be it. Personally, I could have done without some of the language, but your explanation of the ad was very informative as well as humorous

  • @alfo11 the language is the signature feature of angryaussie. He is angry, and that means language that you wouldn't hear in most gangs in the US. US gangs are known for their politeness and walking old ladies across the road.

In Australia, we work hard, we play hard and we try our best to respect each other.

Oh the KFC ad thing, yeah, who fuckin cares if there are brown skinned people and fried chicken. I love fried chicken as well as a lot of other white bastards out there haha.

  • Point well taken about the language. He hasn't said (nor will he probably say) anything that hasn't passed my lips in the past. I can truly accept it as his way of expressing what he feels is the truth.

  • Amen, I got done for being racist in school ones, I shouted out Taxi. That was a good few years ago. WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK!

Great video man, I'll be sending this round.

  • This video makes me hungry :)

  • In my experience, I've noticed that people that bitch the hardest about racism is the worst racist of all. There was nothing racist about that add.

Anyway, who doesn't like Fried Chicken?

  • Thanks for clearing this up for me! I didn't really think it was racist, but I was really confused by the ad in general since...I'm not really involved in sports, let alone Australian sports.

Anyway, got some laughs, and thanks again~ :D

  • I pissed myself laughing over this. Good work. I try to be a bit more toned down, but people trying to paint this innocuous ad as racist seriously are fucking idiots. There really is no nice way of saying this that conveys the reality of the situation so neatly and accurately. Maintain the anger!

  • the ad means akward because he is sitting next to peeps from another team like for americans... magic fan next to a bunch of laker fans

  • People who claim that things are racist are just covering up for the fact that they themselves are racist. They look for racism everywhere, they thrive on it.

Are racists claiming that blacks aren't allowed to like chicken anymore?

  • ILY Angry.

  • ILY Angry too

  • Anyone who thinks it's racist is a fucking idiot, I dunno how much simpler it could be... I mean for fuck's sake, can't black people eat fried chicken without people looking at it and going "THAT IS A STEREOTYPE".

I reckon the knee jerk reaction says more about the person watching it than it does the ad itself. Fucking let people eat whatever they want and stop connecting the dots.

  • When's Daz the Bogan coming on to the show again??

  • Get a clue you fucking moron.

  • that's stupid and ignorant and racist on two levels: 1. It's saying every fucking culture around the world has to be the fucking same as yours. Second it's saying that white people can never dress up as black people.

  • You clueless little racist fuckwit. There's dressing up as black people and then there's blackface which is a long history of racial vilification. That fact that you are too fucking ignorant to know that and so fucking racist you don't fucking care means nothing but you're an ignorant little racist lump of shit.

And although you're obviously far too fucking stupid to understand, watch John Safran's "Race Relations to see the difference. Better still, just fuck off you stinking little racist.

  • You are fucking stupid. WORSE you are fucking boring. You're totally out of your league and apparently to fucking stupid to stop making a cunt of yourself publicly. I'm sick of you, you pathetic clueless little cunt. Fuck off and die.

  • @AngryAussie That made my morning haha.

  • Black people and chicken is a stereotype that hasn't existed in Australia... Blackface did.

  • Mate you're a bloody genious. THANKYOU!

  • ha spot on. how can they be so narrow minded?!

  • u mad?

  • u overuse shitty memes?

  • u mad?

  • mad u?

  • Im mad

  • looove looooooove, this is perfect, i was thinking the same thing, they should think and understand and do some research into the context of the ad b4 just jump to calling it racist

  • Jeez, I didn't even know the fried chicken/black people stereotype and I'm from the US. This is getting ridiculous...

  • I don't think the Indian attacks are racially motivated...They are just easy targets and Aussies are lazy bastards,so...

  • Yeah, this whole "RASCIST" outcry is just an over-reaction. I mean, no offence to the US, but they don't play cricket, so I doubt they would know that the "black crowd" in question was a crowd of West Indian supporters, not a group of African-Americans. It was, as mentioned, a reference to the Test Series that had been played since Boxing Day between Australia and the West Indies.

Hell we have nothing against them anyway and they're not offended either, they've even stuck around for state games

  • i think this is the angryist time ive seen u X D u have a freedom of speech preach it stay mad at stuff X D lol

  • This entire subject is hilarious. I heard about the ad on The Young Turks. They totally got it wrong. Ana Kasparian can't bear to hear mention of a comment from Australia now.

And everyone loves fried chicken. I know I do. I would have had difficulty sharing that little bucket of KFC with anyone.

The uproar is far more entertaining than the ad. I thought the ad was well done.

  • this is slightly off topic but it relates to it in a sense my brother came back from uni but he looked like he was freaked so i asked him whats wrong he said this new group in the uni and i asked yh so then he told me tht they a nazi support group HOW THE FUCK DID THE GOD DAM UNI ALLOW A GROUP OF FUCKING NAZIS GATHER PEOPLE TO HEAR A RACIST THING IS JUST WRONG

  • oh and West Indians ... they arnt blacksss. do they even eat chicken, is that even on thier menu.??

  • thanks for expressing my inner rage about this .
