  • It is called "The Missouri Waltz," written by James Royce Shannon, and reputedly to be the favorite of President Harry Truman.

  • My song 'I'll See You In My Dreams' has a few nice old photos form the '20's.

  • wow, what a find!!! I love it!

  • What a lovely sentimental piece. Makes you want to cry for what have lost.

  • You folks who enjoy this clip and the dancing styles should check out vintage dancing - there are societies nationwide, where you can learn to dance in historically-accurate method. There may even be footage of it here on youtube - have a look. Of course, some of the footage here is more exhibition-style, but vintage couple dancing is a wonderful thing. I've done it for years, and never tire of it. Great clips, by the way - thanks for posting them!
