We wanted to keep the perspective focused on the main character so the confusion of the origin is followed along with the main protagonist. The origin of our tripods I wanted to keep the classic Mars Vs. Earth. Yes the scene from 3:54-5:50 is a cross breed of both of the main heroes interactions with the artilleryman from the novel. Primarily though it is more of the first interaction.
Awesome. A lovely little modernization. The tripods looked pretty cool. Tell me, is the scene from 3:45 to 5:50 like the book bit where he meets the artilleryman for the second time or where he is imprisoned with the curate.

pretty cool man. I thought tho the music score was a little bit to loud, it kind of drowned out the actors voices
