The tip is this. Learn some rolling stones tunes in open G tuning. Honky T W is played in that tuninig. The point is this. The DGDGBD is open G tuning. Drop every string down to next note. CFCFAC. This should be open F. If you want to play open G again, slap on a capo. WTLB can be played in either tuning. But open F is the money maker for Page's How about them apples? I'm so old.

Hey guys lets set the record straight. Anybody that wants to play this Page's style this is the real deal. CFCFAC This makes this song easy as pie to play with the record, because it is how page has it tuned. The bass rhythm is stressed at the 3rd fret with the 3rd and 4th strings. Another tip coming.
