The Blues Project, for me, became the standard by which I judged all others. They never did anything I didn't like. "Classic". "MileStone". Epic. Their body of work may have been scant but it was as precious as pearl
far and away one of the most beautiful songs of its' era...the lyrics are phenominal....the lead singer, ...ah how lovely the voice ...."you can call me from a starlit sairway",,,,whew....I have loved this song for so many years......
Without a doubt one of the most influential bands of the day... you can hear this song in a thousand others and i'm sure that will apply to many yet to come.
@bajoho if you like the blues project then you will enjoy the mandrake memorial they had a singing bass player that sounds like steve katz electric 12 string like the byrds electric piano like the doors what else do you want
