the bass is better on the beats and they look better but they are annoying as fucking shit to wear sometimes and leak like crazy. the bass overpowers everything. i like the qc's much better because it factors the wrong qualities of the beats and changes them into something of their own and overall sound brilliant

i had the beat monster by dr.dre solo headphones.i got them about 9 months brought it used.today i used it & all later on my right ear side headphones doesn't have any sound anymore & my right side only works on the headphones.does the bose headphones last long?

@moto815 Cable broke between the 2 sides, Either resolder it or buy new headhpones. Ask on head fi but i would go get the dennon d2000 which will sound a lot better than any headhpone in the beats line and any bose headphones

Aren't BOSE nice. When you but their OE or AE2 they give you crap plastic packaging that no one can open, but when you spend the extra bit of money they give you a nice box that opens in 10 seconds if that. Cant they just keep the box similar for all headphones.

I work at Best Buy... these headphones are the best. I used to have Beats Studios... they are very nice but I got tired of burning through batteries. Sold those and bought some Beats Pro which don't need batteries but are horribly uncomfortable on the ears. I keep them for plugging into my guitar amp (it has a 1/4" adapter) but I'm probably going to get some of these Bose on employee discount for traveling. They are extremely comfortable and the noise cancellation is unmatched.

Helllo! thanks for the review! By the way does your adjustable headband feel a bit loose as well? It seems to move in and out farily easily with just a little bit of force. Is it supposed to be like this? it doesn't budge when I put on headphone which is good, but it's not stiff and moves around a bit when it's off.

@jorgequinterom i used to have the beats by dr dre studio and i always baby my electronics and the right ear cup started crackling so i returned them. and i have heard these before and the bass is up with the dres but doesnt overpower the rest its nicely balenced and these DONT LEAK like crazy.

Save your money. My buddy has the Bose headset they sound good, but not $300 worth. I would never spend that kind of money on headsets. Hell that's grocery money. I recently found the AIWA noise cancelling HP-CN5 for a steal and they produce kick ass sound. I'd have to be making Oprah money to spend $300.00 for some headphones. These are complete poser's headphones! Expensive pieces of shit! I bought a pair and returned them the same day. I went to a specialty audio store and they had these amongst 30 other pairs and I must say these sounded the worst out of all. If you want true audiophile headphones stay away from these or the Beats by Dr. Dre crap. Do yourself a favor and get some AKG, Sennheiser or Grado cans and hook them up to a nice amp. if you want to experience true sound quality.

Noise Cancelling: Qc15 amazing, Studio also did a great job but not the same.

Sound: Beats By dr Dre, the sound was amazing, high and lows, perfect, Bose I was amazed too, but in sort moments i felt the music kinda of crashy but nothing important almost perfect.

Style: definetly go with Beats

Quality: Bose

Price: They where both at the same price 299.95

Extras: Beats

Winner:Both B&B

The one on the inside, scans any background noise levels, while the outside one scans ALL noise levels, they then have a micro-speaker to send an opposite frequency to Cancel the background noise, so you can hear only the music, or silence.

It's effective and great for planes...
