@JohnsonBoba For starters, one thing that a lot of people missed is that the "AT Field" was their interpretation of what a soul is supposed to be. Instead of something that resides within, the AT Field acts as a barrier to shape and define each person's individuality. Without it, we'd all resort back to the primordial soup from which we originated. The scenario of putting all of the elements together (Adam merged with Rei, the Spear of Longinus, the Evas and the Angels) was all.

@JohnsonBoba for the sake of triggering the apocalypse event in which all AT Fields were deactivated. Commander Ikari & Nerv wanted to manipulate the scenario in order to shape the world on their own terms. Seele wanted a more "absolute" end to humanity and thus the conflict.

I still don,t get it can i ask it here?I watched the series of 26 episodes on anime freak and then the movie the end of evangelion.Then i looked on wikepedia and it says there was also a movie called death and rebirth but when i look it up on youtube i get the normal series in 26 episodes.Is death and rebirth a part of those 26 episodes i saw or what?Please answer.Thank you.
