Invasion was the first set released on Magic Online, and as such, has an extremely limited print run there. For example, a Pernicious Deed (before rotation) was going from anywhere between $75-$100...each.

Wait do you get a whole Block worth of cards or do you just get 1 set, in which case Invasion would definately not be my 1 set because their are virtually no tournament staples from the set, almost all of them came in Planeshift or Apocalypse... If it is only 1 set you can get then I'd say Onslaught for foily fetchlands.

Hypnotic Specter might be reprinted, never realized it was banned. But Kird Ape won't be. After doing some research, I saw that they labelled it banned when the FNM promo came out. DCI's reasoning? "It's not in a legal set." That doesn't really qualify for me as being banned. That's like saying that Myr Enforcer is a banned card in Standard because the FNM came out when Mirrodin isn't a Standard legal set.

You know this for sure? Berserk would be the perfect card for this box as it matches all of the criteria. If Balance is really the best card in this box it's not going to be that popular.

I will predict that neither Kird Ape nor Hypnotic Specter will be in this box. Hyppie is in print NOW and Kird Ape was still in Standard less than tweo years ago - hardly "exiled." I think most of his other guesses are sound.

I love the idea behind the from the vault sets, but when FTV: Dragons came out with all my favorite dragons and none of my local stores could get a hold of any I was sad :(

This FTV is going to go for huge! Considering the difference between any Dragon and any banned or restricted card I think that the latter will sell out in a few minutes.

I still want my FTV: Dragons but man, 60 bucks?
