i thought at first that it wasn't deep but after enter it, it really was, then at the start, the water was really cold, but then it was warm, and yes it is true that the floaty vests stuck in your ass, that bothered me the whole time i was on the river, and it was long, like 1 hour and a half to cross it over, i recommend also to take with yourself a waterproof camera to take pictures underwater, there are fishes there :D

well this vid was easily a while ago but me and my family went to the Mayan Riviera for my grandpa's 70th and we went there with everybody and we manged to see the entire park in one day probs because we rushed through the galeries and stuff and the food wasnt that expensive when i went

Riviera Nayarit is now the fancy name for the Puerto Vallerta area. If you like dark water instead of clear turquoise water, then go there. The Pacific coast ocean water is dark in color, as opposed to the Caribbean side. When I was there in 2002, I was not impressed at all. We stayed at the Royal Decameron, and believe me, there was nothing Royal about it. The only thing I loved about the Puerto Vallerta area was the absolutely glorious weather in early March.

That was fun but their are like two rivers and these rivers are not lazy one bit it was a freaking workout, but when I went their we didn't have to pay for it we had this tour thing it was really cool

@happykaren1053 Same here. We got a tour plan so that we didn't need to pay. And yeah, That lazy river was the opposite. I was tired by the time we got out of there. Xcaret was awesome!

Oh my GOSH!! That was SOOOO fun!!! A word the to wise:

(1) Bring your own lunch in a cooler to keep in the car. Food is crazy expensive!

(2) Bring goggles and a snorkel. Theirs are NOT cheap! Floaty vests are free though.

(3) Use their free samples of biodegradable sunscreen. IT WORKS!!!!

(4) Pay with a VISA card and get a second day free!!! You wont be able to see the whole park in just one day. I promise you that!

@TigersPrettyBunny (1) they have ticket"xcaret plus" which includes deliciouuuus food and you can eat at any of the restaurants, there are buffet :DD

(2)they give you the googgles and a snorkel,also the towel you must leave a deposit of $ 20 approx. but in the end before the 5 pm when you return all the stuffs they back your money :D
