@LuigiMontanaro2 Hi Son! Thank for analyzing! From 1:14 I tried to give back a bit form the impro of Made in Japan version. You know, I don,t like Smoke on the Watwer - to listen. But sometimes I play it just for fun.
@RitchieBlackmoreTv Thank You, Ritchie! Very big honour! Tbh I always make more or less mistakes, but since these works are not for CD and are recorded only by a lonely cam (no mics and mixer), after a while - when I want to deal with my next work, or when the joy starts to evaporate - I choose the least bad recorded version and upload.
Anyway You - Blackmore - gave me the most from MUSIC by Your/His solos. Simply never enough!
@Angeloyur Hi Angelo! Thank You very much! Yes, I try to add a bass part - of course very simple one - coz without bass tunes a work sounds very empty. Since I can,t play the keyboard, at first it was difficult to pay special attention to my left hand (despite that I,m lefty) when changing the tunes. I highly appreciate keyboarders, they/You play the most complicated instrument which - in exchange - gives the possibility playing the most complex music and sounding by one person.
@BustaGutTv Big THANK bro!:) I must aprove that I,m the king - but must add that the poorest slave too, coz - unfortunately - noone else plays this way. Easy to become a king, if You are alone:)
Great drums playing! You're amzing. Awesome style and nice performance. I really enjoyed the variety of rhythms and found even Deep Purple in their beats. Very good!
@GuitarShowPlayer Big THANK Wagner!:) Keep on excellent guitar playing! (Up to now I,ve met Wagner only as a family name, not as a first one. Interesting.)
@MRCLINTFLICK Hi Clint! Fun and Blackmore forever(est!:) I suggest to make hard for Your sons to find their Christmas presents a bio-GPS system. Write on a piece of paper where the presents are. (Eg. on the attic.) Then hide the paper, and write another one which reveals where the 1. paper is. Then the next one, which says where the last but one is etc. Once I made 17 papers (under glass, behind curtain, in the bed, in a pocket, in the garden) so made move my Wife the First a lot:)
Nice work on the drums George! SOTW may be a simple riff true, but then so is the main riff in Beethoven's 5th symphony and you never hear anyone complain about that being too simple do you? For me it's the solo in SOTW that makes the song great. Btw, almost no one plays the SOTW riff correctly anyway - it is picked not strummed.
@kottmeier You are very right! And I like the solo part (Blackmore never made a shit solo), moreover, the melody is not bad. Only the riff - for me:) But it means only that: I see even Blackmore - whom I,m a fan of - objectively.
A funny coincidence: I started my previous work "F8 of F1" /Fate of Fun/ with just the "riff" of Beethoven's 5th:)) (Was not inspired by that at all. Instead a Cozy Powell rhythm in "Kill the King".)
Big thank for listening and Your kind and wise words!
GEORGE!!!! I keep looking for the rest of the band but it is just you. You never fail to amaze me, you had me singing the words along with you. You ROCK my friend.
@BlackPurpleFish Big fat THANK, Dave!:)) I,m very glad that You mentioned the very point: I try to make a - relatively - full sounding: drum, bass and melody. Big fun coz the whole band is always together and in case of impro I can do whatever I want: sudden changes, stoppings etc. the "other members" react at once and understand what I would like and are coming with me without dispute*:)
*not true: I frequently curse the band: my hands or/and legs
@Phrase Big THANK, Phrase! Yes, I tune the drums to egzact notes - or at least try. They are incredibly sensitive to heat, air pressure, much more than eg. a banjo. (I play that too, so can compare.) Keep on fine rock on the Bonzo -Paice path!:)
@17drums Hi Dave! Big THANK! When I was 16, I was really fast (plz don,t consider me bigheaded!) but with spongehead sticks the max. speed is slower than with normal ones coz the heads are not beaten back so quickly from the drumheads. If You don,t mind I send You my very 1. melodical piece - I didn,t even add yet bass part to that - containing fast details.
Anyway I always say that speed is a fine thing but the main question: what do we use it for?
WTF IS SHIT
