Cool !! I've had one of these in the UK for some years and I only just found out the designation , but my info is that it is a W3S ??!! Mine looks identical to yours though , so how come the W2C designation ? Nice job by the way , mine will need restoration to look that good !!
W2C is the engine itself, you'll see it in the engine casting numbers. W3S is the generator set as a whole. I have a W2M generator set with the W2C engine, 2kw, 115v, 60hz, crank start, shielede magneto ignition, and originally painted red with a "Winpower" label.
