that interview was in 1990 i remember that but her total range from her lowest note to her highest note is a little over 5 octaves like 5 and a half... but she didnt know that because she didnt know anything about octaves or keys then but its just a measure that anyone can prove. she sings from a E2 to a G#7 and that 5.5 octaves she said she didnt know because she didnt calculate it... in i wish you well she only sings up to a E7 thats not her highest note her highest is G#7 in emotions live
