  • Nice app

  • is there any chance that this great app going to be ported to bada too?

  • I love this app, but you guys....PLEASE, PLEASE, get some Text-To-Speech for BlackBerry. You're killin' me here. I left Google Maps because of the crappiness of their app (gps not accurate. wtf??) and because it didn't TTS. Please get on it. I don't want to have to pay for VZ Navigator. I like the layout of Waze, and I like the social-input factor. I don't want to have to go back to boring old navigation, but I really need the TTS for BlackBerry.

  • it's never up to date with my current location. say "no gps' good idea of an app, but it doesn't give me the exact location i am at, which is a deal beaker.

  • open source gps?

  • nice

  • will it work without data?

  • I'm going to get voluptuous finger waves in my hair!!! Bring back Bob barker. !.- my cousin troy from east Atlanta village.

  • I just want to know if you can save previous addresses with this app unlike googles

  • Guys,

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help with installing it on Windows PC ...

Emulators are VERY hard configurable things, and most of us cant do all the setting and get it working. And even those who did it, telling that the application working very slow, and the GPS port must crashes and stucks all the time.

The pure exe file pure PC application is extremly needed....

All the huge car-pc community waiting so much time

Why you are not developing a PC version ? Who restrics it ?

  • HEY YOU SAID THEY WERE DRIVING ON THE 101 BUT THAT WAS CLEARLY 280 SOUTH!! WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY?!

  • I absolutely LOVE this app on my iPhone. Finally, a reliable true turn-by-turn gps app that has that wonderful realtime social network feature. I also love that it doesnt allow you to log data while you are moving. I've used Waze over a dozen times so far and there has never been a delay in accessing the map or logging on...unlike garbage apps like LiveProfile.

  • One word.

    Awesome!!!

  • welcom on 360P!

  • Holy crap. WOW

  • Yay Waze! Such a cool app!

  • i have waze on an iPhone 4.. its the best gps. and its free. just amazing

  • does it work with xperia x8?

  • First google, then facebook, now this. They don't call them the intelligence community for nothing. Great app :-)

  • I love waZe I don't get all those sudden surprise no more now I ll know what's a head of me before I get there thank you waze

  • Who is the vendor that developed this app?

  • waze was great since last update..always force closes now..htc hero:(

  • poc heska

  • are the maps pre installed on my device or every time i use i have to load the maps?

  • Waze borró mis puntos, no entiendo :(

  • Comment removed

  • @JuhurTat nokia, hahaha:D whats that

  • Lol hutch

  • I'll download this but. Are all the maps included in this app?

  • Amazing !!!

  • can ipodtouchr

  • @sportsheritage Yes, it is :)

  • 1 question do you need wifi or 3g???

  • @TheArmenianBBoy You need an internet connection for the full services (online traffic reports and so on).

You can start the app when You are in a "net zone" (eg, near free wifi hotspot) and start to navigate (Waze downloads the necessary navigation data to your mobile). Then You can use it without net connection.

It is alwasy good to give net access to waze at startup, because the client is uploading the tracklog to the server in this time.

  • You can appear as anonymous on waze. We take privacy very seriously

  • What about privacy; I pull up to my destination, my house, and now every weirdo knows where I live :(

Seriously, needs to be a way to tell waze where I live and then disable reporting my positions on the map within 1 mile or so ???

  • We recommend having a data plan but you can save data by using 2D mode and downloading the map (by typing in an address to drive to on the map) from wifi at home

  • Does this app need a Data plan or we can just download the map and use GPS to locate where we are? If not anyone have any idea any GPS navigator which no need to use data plaN? thx

  • @rainbikorea You don't need internet access with Garmin mobile XT.

The only thing you need is: Garmin mobile XT (cartset), a phone with symbian and an internal gps receiver.

  • The app recognizes this and it won't be perceived as traffic

  • The app recognizes you made it so it won't register as a traffic jam

  • And what happens once you get to your destination and you stop? Will it appears as a traffic jam?

  • Does anyone know how, or is it available to have Waze give you spoken directions? I recently logged onto this app on my cell phone and it mentioned spoken direcitons from Santa (for the holidays) but I'm wondering if I can get spoken directions all of the time. This app is wonderful. I suggest everyone try it.

  • How much data does it use?

  • "police trap" "speed cam" EPIC!!!!

  • do we need wifi? cuz how r we going to use it on the road?

  • can you use this without network or internet? i'm looking for a gps apps with map ready.. cos most gps apps need internet access so you can view the map.. is there any gps apps where i can upload google map to my sd card and use my gps without internet access.. just like the regular gps we're ussing in our car..

  • I cant log in in the HTC Evo.

  • on the record a new road function, could I just set this going and start running through a field?

  • @margheritapizza i guess but that wouldn't get you very far...you'd still have to edit the roads on the map editor online (cartouche)

  • cool now i can tell theres traffic on i-95 cuz my and my gf are having sex in the middle of the highway.

  • best free gps turn by turn out!!!!!

  • and i'm still waiting for the app for WebOS!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm so getting this !

  • Wow, traffic at 2am. Must be rough living there.

  • Waze relies on internet to work and needs a data plan

  • does waze rely on internet to work, like an android phone with an internet data plan?

can it be used offline, like download the latest map via wifi before leaving? curious because the nokia n810 has a gps and can support android os

  • @kumquatsta it works on blackberry, iphone, android and other handsets...check the website for more details. It needs to be connected to the web for any useful data, but if u set a route, it will remember it if u lose connectivity occasionally. If you have wifi while u drive and a gps signal, (such as on a nice bus), that works too.
