I still ask Why didn't they let Glen play and sing something at the end? When glen hugged Jimmy Webb at first he didn't know who he was until Jimmy told him. I agree that Artists should record Glen's songs for Alzheimer research. All three vince brad keith did awesome but noone can sing like Glen..........

@85funnyguy It is a bass. Fender starting making them back in the 60's ultimately for guitar players to double up as bass players. The Beatles used them whenever Paul was playing guitar on a track and a bass was needed. They're pretty cool.

This is priceless...what a great tribute! I can't stop playing this! Glen Campbell has done so much for American music and is an industry icon. I agree with macdic777 about Vince Gill- so beautifully performed. They all did great, Keith, Brad and Jimmy Webb. Wow, words can not describe. The tears are there. Long live Glen Campbell! We will never forget this tribute- nor Glen Campbell! Thank you Glen!

Absolutely a fantastic performance by all three of these men in a fitting tribute to Glen. Vince made his version so haunting and beautiful......he should put this on an album. The tribute was well worth sitting through the first 2.5 hours of the show.

in case no one has noticed,nobody in todays Music regardless of the type of music sings cover songs like Vince Gill does.I have been to well over 40 vince gill concerts and his tone when doing covers is the best,Keith (who adores Glen )was outstanding and Brad as well,but Vince froze us in time on By The time I Get to Phoenix.psmittymacd has it right.A Glen campbell album of others doing his songs and all funds go to Alzheimers research.Glen and his family would appreciate that..

this was my favorite moment at the CMAs last night! i especially loved when brad started singing "galveston" and glen gave him two thumbs up! but i think that they all nailed their performances, and it made me cry to see glen come up and thank them and give them hugs. now i see why my mom has always been such a glen campbell fan over the years; he seems so gracious and humble, despite everything he's gone and still going through. thanks again! :-)

Glenn Campbell, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, George Jones and even the likes of George Strait and Alabama are far better than todays modern country. Todays country is good, but unfortunately it is getting way to mainstream and poppy, with a few exceptions Eric Church, Montgomery Gentry to name a few.

@PLeiaSolo um i love all three but no there not... no artist is the "best" artist. if you love music then you respect ALL artists. becuse of people like you is why music is so mainstream today. doesnt matter if you a headlining artist or a garage band, truth is, people who play music are the best artists ever even though some are BETTER than others.
