Wow.
I was completely oblivious to the fact
that German Sign Language is different
from English Sign Language.

your 'Rs' are fine, ignore rylifox. they are influenced by your mother tongue. but you are easily understood, rylifox is just being rude and picky -- "... and English speakers don't like it." as if rylifox speaks for all English speakers!

You should work on your English Rs. So many people have that same problem and English-speakers don't like it.

FYI... in German the "r" has two completely different pronunciations.
One is like the British "r" in water. So it sounds like ur saying an "a" or "u" at the end of the word.
The other is the French "r" which comes from the throat. Like ur gargling water.
