I highly doubt any ufo activity happened there. Just Uranium enrichment, Nuclear, hydrogen and heavy water research along with other inventions and prototype studies. They don't make the bombs there anymore, however they do design and research for bombs, reactors, and lots and lots and LOTS of on site Nuclear waste storage. I was there once on a bring-your-family-to-work day. The security was so lax that I was able to smuggle out a few "momentos" of my visit.

i know i havce lived in oak ridge for 27 years drive past {y-12} {x-10} every day at 6 in the morning and sometimes even four 5 days a week.....Yet to see a UFO so ridiclous!

I don't know much about Oak Ridge though I do live in Greeneville, TN and know people from there and it was the birthplace of the 1st Atomic bomb. But very much so the city really creeps me out. I really don't know why but it does very much so.

I've live in Oak Ridge too and I have yet to see a UFO. My grandmother reported one in the 60s flying over the Cumberland Plateau, but that's it.

I did some contract work at a huge state of the art military style shooting range just outside of Oak Ridge. Lots of machine gun fire and spooky government types around. When I casually asked the person I was dealing with what goes on out here, his whole demeanor changed and he coldly told me I needed to 'quit asking so many questions' and to finish my work and leave. Very surreal, very scary.

I lived in Oak Ridge for 20 years. My father worked at Y-12 and my grandfather moved there in the 40s to work on the Manhattan Project. Neither of them ever mentioned little green men on ice and I never saw anything goofy, not even under the influence of that sh2t my cousins used to distill up in Winrock.

I live in Oak Ridge and have never seen a UFO or anything of the sort, so obviously living here does not mean that you have seen a UFO as you said. It is completely possible that you saw a plane that you did not recognize. And even if there were UFO's here, no one could ever keep that much of a secret. It would get out very quickly.

Regrettably, I have seen a triangular UFO come from Oak Ridge.

I have also noticed that people who live in Oak Ridge seem to suffer harshly from the "fish don't know they're wet" syndrome.

Moreover, growing up near AF bases, and being generally familiar with numerous types of aircraft, their appearance, their sound signatures, how they look and behave at night (et cetera) - that I can tell the difference between a standard aircraft and ultra high tech aircraft, and Oak Ridge has UFOs.

How can I say UFOs have had been in OR airspace? Easy! All you have to do is live in Knoxville, and travel daily to Oak Ridge (and surrounding areas, including our beautiful Great Smoky Mountains). Moreover, after working for Knox Air at KYS for enough years, and after servicing aircraft all across the SEUSA, one develops a certain "sense" for aircraft - you learn to *intimately* know what they sound like, look like, feel like, taste and smell like - and what I have seen in OR are not aircraft.

I have lived in Oak Ridge for 21 years but I never have seen a UFO. I don't believe in UFOs anymore but I used to. I think they are just myths and not real. Of course, I do believe there are other life in the universe but I doubt they can reach our world because right now we can't even reach theirs either. Maybe in the future possibly like we did on Star Trek or something similar though.
