i've seen some of ur other video's and i can't believe how u've progressed so much! :)

i find it kind of hard to get the canter in my riding lessons sometimes. whats ur technique? or any tips? :D

@WinterRider8 try using your inside leg at the girth really hard and then ask with your outside leg. Keep contact with your horses mouth but make sure you have an "elastic"/following arm. And keep doing your no stirrup work!! Everyone can always use more strength :)

This is really good for your 5th lesson.... and your cantering already... im have had like 12 lessons and i cant grasp the cantering... i cant scoop the saddle like u do. and now i have went to 2 shows and did good, but can u tell me how your trainer told u how to ride at the canter... mabey advise from someone else would help... but you look amazing :)

haha thanks, but this was more than my 5th lesson. lol. I had been riding for about a month and a half, and I had done a riding camp in that time too. :)

Cantering... try to think about your butt being connected in the saddle. try to just follow the motion, and relax. if you try to force it, you'll have trouble. i had some trouble with cantering when i first started too, it's just something you have to do over and over until you get the feel for it. hope that helps!!

What my teacher said is you pretend you have a 50 dollar note under ur butt, and she said it is important to keep your heels down so you have a less chance of falling off. And then you just have to ride with the rthym, its a bit like a rocking horse i guess?

Hi! Umm, cute horses and ponys =] But just a little friendly advice - at 0:25 when your picking out his hoof, let him drop it down all the way then pick it out. If you let it crouch up like that it makes him uncomfortable. <--- Just a little advice ^_^ Anyway good job!

oh wow! how many times did you go a week?! when i start im only aloud to go once a week so thats only four lessons a month :(

for the first two weeks I went once a week, and then after that I rode 2 times a week. because I babysat for my trainer for 5 hrs a week and that payed for one of my lessons. occassionaly I'd go out just to ride a 3rd time, but not as much.
