@SuperGuitarMark Its not really boring, He chooses a Clean tone to support the foundation of the music, also he easily has one of the best clean tones in Metal bass : )

It's tuned to Drop c with the fifth string being tuned to A, the same principle as a 7 string guitar being tuned to standard, which to 6 strings would be E A D G B E, but with 7 strings would be A E A D G B E. See what I mean? Now apply that principle to John's 5 string. Reason why I said all that would be to bring on my next point, that John utilizes his 5th string for deeper tones by switching from his imaginary "4 string" mentality to actually using the 5th.

@kai9116 ironically john has been a teacher longer than hes been in disturbed lol. John's ok in my book. He seems like more of a rigid type player than dan. He seems like a true opposite of dans natural born style of playing...

To all those crying about no tabs. this is a very straightforward riff from dan and shouldn't need tabbing. the hard part is the syncopation of the verse riff and trying to mimic his style. mainly the chugging and getting that bad ass searing sound
