@chucknorris136 & @linkingal Chester does not scream in the normal sense. He uses vocal fry. It sounds harsh and gritty, but is not too hard and the only way you can scream and not loose your voice or cause mahor damage.. I think that is one of the reasons he cups the mic, to help it sound louder. Vocal fry doesn't use very much air, so it can be carried for a long time.

Anyone can scream, but to call it a proper sustained scream (doubly so for 17 seconds), you actually have to hold the scream until that mark or after. Otherwise you got bands like Kalmah, Children of Bodom, Lamb of God and others that can scream for up to 6 minutes+.

I was there that was a amazing concert I love Linkin Park they are my favorite band ever Chester is just amazing he kicks ass! I almost went backstage to meet Linkin Park but some drunk asshole jumped on my friends back and hurt his back really bad so didn't go cause he wanted to meet LP just as bad as I did and I didn't want just leave him or I would have felt bad. I just want to point out Lamb of God has a 27second like scream in O.D.H.G.A.B.F.E. and Boston had a 33second scream live, i Forget the song.
