  • Did he come out of the closet in '09?

  • He should be thrown out of office for his phony answer she is ready and could be a great President she is a serious threat to win The White House in 2012 period!

  • Without a doubt she is qualified because she not only has run a state but really it counts on how well she can work with a cabinet that she would have to choose that seems not be on peoples mind there are 20 cabinet seats which are there because nobody is that informed to deal with all the areas that each person takes care of in that office that makes the President's job not that tough in my opinion but the issue is she hasn't been around long enough to really vet or know her cabinet choice...

  • Also if she does become the 45th President of the United States of America that she likely will maybe have to choose a nominee for the Supreme Counrt during her tenture as Presiden all while be pushed by the RNC to pick someone they want not her and we know that Sarah does as she wants but that could do her in I want to see her as President I brought up these points because they are true and before anyone else starts ranking her down now you have the only issues that you can question failry! i

  • How could Barbour have served with Palin for years when she was Governor for only 2 years and the majority of that was spent campaigning for Vice President? I love how Republicans twist the truth.

  • @nelsonrc

Barbour only served with the quitter on the Republican Governors Association-- and that was very limited. The best Barbour could say was she is legally viable. Hardly a ringing endorsement, Dobbs has now joined a host of Republicans that are unwilling to vote or support Sarah. The RNC wants nothing to do with her-- much like America.

  • Your post sounded too crazy too be true so I did a little research.

    Elected Gov - - Dec 4, 2006

    Quit as Gov - - July 26, 2009

If I calculated right, that's about 933 days.

You say that she spent the majority of that time running for vice President? That means at least 466 days running with McCain? Lets check that.

    Picked as running mate - - Aug 24, 2008

    Election over - - - - - - - - - Nov 4, 2008

That is only about 62 days. Wow, you are a total liar. And Barbour was right.

  • Sorry, my math is not so good tonight, she ran with McCain for a whopping 72 days. Even is you subtract those out, she still served with Barbour for 2 years plus 130 days as a fellow Republican Governor.

Looks like it is nelsonrc who likes to twist the truth.

  • Hey, maybe you just got confused with the "spent the majority of that time running for...." You must have heard that about Obama and just conveniently transfered it to Palin, lol. (Because of course everyone knows that presidential candidates run for years before the election, VP's are only chosen a few months before the election, right?)

Obama spend his entire 4 years in the Senate running for Prez. That's what must have confused you. Trying to give you the benefit of the doubt?

  • Barbour said "She is constitutionally qualified." But Matthews can't accept that.

He wants to know if she has the EXPERIENCE to be president. But he can not come right out and qualify his question. Why?

Because if Palin is not experienced enough, then OBAMA was certainly not experienced enough either.

So he is stuck asking his stupid little "Is she Qualified?" with no qualifiers! Hilarious. Now he tells the story every day, like a war story. What a weak sister Matthews is!

  • priceless!!!!!!

  • funny..

she's over 35 and a lot less stupid than everyone says she is.. THAT's the best a former gop chairman can say.

sarah palin is an embarrassment to her fellow repugnicants

  • Wow! Living in some fantasy world hey? Barack is one of the smartest Presidents ever to take the oval office. It seems to me that Republicans like to choose vacant idiots with downhome appeal, and elect them as their front runner, i.e. Reagan, Bush, Palin, etc. All idiots, with folksey appeal. Democrats pick the smartest and brightest individual.

  • You mean like AL GORE, who flunked out of Bble college? Yeah, he's a real Einstein.

The democrats elect candidates who tell them whatever they want to hear. Where did you hear that Obama is some big super genius? Oh, Obama said it? Well, it must be true, no democrat would lie, right?

Everyday we are learning that the warnings were correct. "Just an empty suit." "All flash and no pan."

You nuts are focusing on Palin too soon. Remember 4 years ago? Thad Allen was leading Republican.

  • Another GOP afraid of Palin....LOL

  • Um, uh, well, I mean, hmm, and well, I uh, you know, hrm...

    Make up your damn mind!

  • She's too dumb to be president. I think America is still feeling the sting of having an idiot in the white house. No more morons please.

  • Did you mean the idiot with degrees from Harvard and Yale? Or the one who still can't decide what to do in Afghanistan? (The one who took six months to choose the family dog?) You know, the one with his fancy Harvard "affirmative action" degree?

  • Comment removed

  • I despise Sarah Palin but if quacks thought W should be president, the bar has been lowered. Palin is qualified to be president. Of course if we go by the standards of fake southern neanderthals like haley barbour, so is Mickey Mouse. Why do I feel like I need to wipe his spit off my face?

  • Sarah Palin today, Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho tomorrow.

  • In the future we will have the Nabisco candidate vs the Disney candidate for President (they will both be actors or popstars.)

We currently have the President who represents the bankers, and we just had the President who represented the oil companies.

  • well pretty much any candidate would have represented the bankers

  • She's not qualified, because she's dumb.

  • When Barbour speaks- children die by the thousands

  • Wow, you have really taken the politics of personal of personal destruction to a whole new level.

"What, that guy is from the other party, let's say that he is like Hitler"

"No, that's not enough, lets say that he kills children and drinks their blood!"

    "Oh, Yeah"

You fringe nuts are only hurting your own issues because after a while, no one will listen to your opinions. Aesop called it "Crying wolf" Good luck with that.

  • @mugwump666

You are as bright as a shrimp colon. Conservative drove this country into a ditch- yet complain about the cost of the tow truck.

    Conservatives are professional victims.

  • I came here for an argument, lol. But I go away empty handed. You have no ideas, just name-calling. Oh, well. Typical.

  • @mugwump666

    RIGHT-WING Whining Point.

  • Yawn.......write more when you actually have something to say.

  • @mugwump666

The headliner of the GOP has the intellect of a sponge mop. Yet you are demanding relevancy from me. lol

You may want to focus that energy on the GOP princess that doesn't recognize the deference in Iran and Iraq.

  • There are two qualifications for President that I know of:

    1. Must be over 35 years old.

    2. Must be born in the USA.

Now do you understand why Chris Matthews can only repeat his weak question, but offer no qualifiers?

"Yes, she is constitutionally qualified, but does she have the experience". Oops, can't say that with Obama in Asia, not even bothering to learn their customs first.

He can't get more specific in the argument without it coming back to OBAMA and HIS qualifications.

  • @mugwump666

Thanks for the history lesson-- but Presidential qualifications were covered in elementary school.

Palin can't even differentiate between Iraq and Iran. She's a walking Talking Point that Republican leadership wants nothing to do with.

Ranking Republicans rally around Sanford and Ensign- yet leave Palin in the cold to fight her own battles.

Just so I'm clear- no one on this planet wants Sarah representing the Republican party in 2012 more than me. But the RNC doesn't-- strange

  • If Presidential qualifications were covered in grade school, then why did Chris Matthews ask the same question 4 times? And then got that stupid "stuck in his thumb and pulled out a plumb" look of satisfaction on his face, like he accomplished something?

As you point out, it is not the Repubs focusing on Palin, it is the Dems. They want to take out any possible threats early, like Thad Allen.

It is way too early for Republicans to choose, but not too early for Dems to smear and name-call.

  • It's annoying when douchebags like him don't just clearly answer the question.

  • Barbour has presidential aspirations. The Slim Jim and Ding Dong crowd loves this guy.

  • Hey, I like slim jims and ding dongs!!!
