Good Luck to the current line up.Sorry But it just aint the same.Saw them with Brian Robrtson on their Bad Reputation tour in the 70's and with Gary Moore on the Black Rose Tour. Both at Pompey Guildhall. Lynotts Charisma was what it was about, the cherry the cake made of great music. Lizzy ! Lizzy ! Lizzy ! Lizzy !

Yes it aint the same without Phil, but aint it better to keep the spirit of the music alive for generations of folk that were not around the first time, bringing these great songs to new fans! I was there the first time and will absolutely see the new line up!

I agree that this band is really a Thin Lizzy tribute band without the late, great Phil Lynott, but let's critique this music for what it is. This is a great sounding band, and I really appreciate the initiative that Scott Gorham and company have taken to revive this music in live form fashion for the fans. These guys have done an admirable jobs of paying homage to Phil Lynott. It's about the music and keeping Phil's memory alive by performing his music for us.  Thank you, Thin Lizzy 2011!

@sockitfunchannel2 Ricky Warwick is over 40, not still in school! He's a singer / songwriter in his own right and, in the 80's - 90's, his band The Almighty were pretty rocking too. So he's not Phil Lynott, nobody possibly could be, but he's going out and giving his all to keep Lizzy's music alive. I say thanks Ricky!!

This is just too painful to watch or listen to. I'd rather come across a tribute band playing these songs rather than this sham of a band calling themselves Thin Lizzy. Scott Gorham and Brian Downey have lost my respect.

@dondondondonself true but it's cool that these great songs are still being played live and sounding pretty good too.Phil would love that his music is still turning new fans on.Id go see this if given a chance.Ive been a Lizzy fan for yrs.but then kinda just forgot about them.I hadnt even heard Phil had died tell i seen it on vh1 behind the music (99).Terrible that his death was barely reported.same with DIO yet if linsey lohan breaks a finger nail.its all over the news
