He is too low for the show. Odds are against it, but if any of the flight controls broke he could take out hundreds with a crash. It looks awesome, but dangerous! I'm not sure of the minimum altitude at the P'cola show, but I believe it is at least 100' off the beach. He was at about 50' there.
hundreds? that pier is actually closed to the public, and they were standing on the end part. All Blue Angel manuevers are coregraphed to exellence, and this has been done for the last 21 years the Blues had the F/A-18 Hornet, and yes 50 feet is made.
Your understanding of the subject at hand is misplaced. You aren't even wrong. Get ahold of a a recent FAR book (post 2002) to understand how airshow minimums are set. Read about pre-airshow examiners, base minimums and pilot ratings/intentions under Part 91.
I was there with my friend... It was my first Air show and it was amazing... Loud, but amazing. (Although it didn't exactly help that we were Sitting infront of a group of speakers...)

Good catch of the sneak pass. Sounds different right at sea level. Higher elevations have more of the cracking sound as they pass sub-sonic.
