@wmhoneybucket, Mali does shed a lot and that is why she gets a good brushing every morning to avoid getting too much furballs. But she still coughs them up once in a while. Thanks for visiting.

Sweet kitty. :) I love calicos. Their markings sometimes remind me of the woolly mammoth caterpillars that I would find when I was little.

Thank you so much. There are 2 stone cats, one is a boot brush and one is a white one sitting in the garden. My cat does not mind me videotaping her garden walks. She cannot be left alone outside as she is really an indoor cat.

Thank you oOSonnikuOo, she does have a an unusual pattern. I think Mali is part ragamuffin but a breeder in Austria who I sent the cat picture to said that her nose did not have the "scoop" for a ragamuffin. I do not really know if she is part Maine Coon. The cat before Mali was a large Maine Coon who was a superb mouser unlike my calico who is content with stuffed toy mice.

Same here. Calico cats are also called "lucky cats". In some cultures. It is believed that they bring the owners good fortune and luck.

Your cat is beautiful!! I had one like that too with that beautiful tail!!One day she came in the house with half a tail so I went looking around and found the other half on the side of the house. She was just fine.Talk about strange!! So she just went through life with half a tail and I called her stubby...;)

I am sure stubby is just as special and beautiful with half a tail. My calico cat was a rescued kitten with a broken tail. She's now 10 years old  with a big bushy tail and noone had ever noticed that it had a crooked tip.

Her tail is almost as long as her body and is always up and swishes like a feather duster when she walks or runs.
