I stil use g and it works fine... I have a 2 story 2000 sqft home and I get excellent connectivity in just about every room - even out in the yard. I used to have problems with D-Link - the customer service is really, really bad. I now only use Linksys products and they work flawlessly.

No, it doesn't have a cd/dvd player in it....it is way to small (a little bigger than an external cd/dvd drive)

ok so iam debating whether to get the aoa 110 with the ssd or the 150 with the 120 gb obviously i get the more memory thing but with the ssd it should bring out more in the computer since there is no disk drive to take time and read. all iam looking for is all around performance and also if someone can describe the pros and cons of windows and linux for what os to get the acer with that would be great. security wise, spyware and other stuff does it effect ether 110 or 150? please reply to this

get the 150 with the hard drive and windows xp. with linux you are pretty limited to what you can do and the solid state hard drive is very sluggish on windows. my AOA 150 -1864 works without a problem. btw it's just a normal computer but smaller. it is still affected by viruses and spyware just like a big computer

I put itunes on mine recently. It seems to run pretty slow on my regular toshiba laptop anyways so it runs about the same, maybe a little faster. Only a 60D ppt and office trial. But it does have Microsoft works which pretty much has everything except the powerpoint and its a full version. It's just kinda ugly....Youtube vids shouldn't be a problem especially with a 160gb one.

I have the flip video ultra and I can it works without any problems. Just install the flip software (included on the flip device itself) and you're good to go :)

Thanks for the reply- I just recently had to send in the aspire (to Texas) due to the display (PCI) going bad- I went & bought another one since it will take 6-10 wks for it to be returned. ;-( - - but your right- the Flip comes w/ software- I was curious as to whether or not- the Aspire had enough RAM to suppport the software & vids.. you need to delete vids when finished editing or transfer them back to your camcorder so you can upload to a different computer- Ideally a 250GB hard drive.

I have one!!! NICE!!! for school but can do everything els. I installed XP Lite. and just FAST!!! i have the same waiting time as my Desktop (Intel 8400,DDR3 4gb, 99800GX2) wich is NON. Fast easy. I just pop it out my jacket after the teacher asks me "Where is your homework!!!" LOL.
