My way of describing the characters =

Al = Pretty much a nooby guy with a "I HAVEN'T LOST YET!" attitude.

Nina = Truly selfish magician, though always helps Al when his doing stuff.

Gallus-sama = Awesome warrior, becomes friends with Barrow-sama again too.

Barrow-sama = Awesome archer, becomes friends with Gallus-sama again too.

Anji = Stealing thief who is pretty funny on my opinion.

Puudou = Best pig ever, i love Puudou mainly because Nina is pretty annoying, and Puudou always gets pwned :P

@13DJX13 Yes, I'm not one of those japanophiles who bashes anything not from Japan. I saw Hellsing when it first came out dubbed, and by happenstance, I saw a couple episodes of FMA dubbed on some cable channel. I watched all of them subbed, but for FMA and Black Lagoon, I watched subs first.

I may not speak Japanese, but I could tell that the Japanese voice actors did a far better job. With good reason too.

@13DJX13 Current American voice actors, particularly the ones for anime dubs, just aren't performers. And dubbing companies don't have the money to hire well-trained and experienced voice actors. In contrast, since the animation industry is so big in Japan, voice actors have a more important role. To say that a dub is better than the sub, I just can't understand. I mean, the translation is already butchered, why butcher the acting too?
