Roy White is one of the most under-rated Yankees in their history. He was a team player who hustled all the time (& a class person, too). Great base runner, great glove, good contact hitter & decent power. His statistics are misleading because of changes in the game the last 30 years.
Can't imagine anyone saying anything bad about Roy. Absolutely one of heroes of my generation of young Yankee fans. Conducted himself quietly with class and grace 100% of the time. Great role model. Hope to see more of him. Thanks for posting. How about an in depth interview?
