Since it was tuned, and I was much better at driving it. THis video was literally soon after building the car...and my first manual transmission car that I had to drive every day. So its quicker than this vid makes it out to be :)
Why cant some ppl accept that this car is fast ? Thirdgens are not such heavy cars as the appear to be, they move really nice with the old 350 TPI engine wich had a max of 235 horses so it ofc will be fast with a lighter engine that has an extra 60HP atleast. People are so stupid.

I wish I had enough power to break loose on the dyno rollers though... Im about to yank the motor due to a bent rod, so Im going to work on the power thing a bit more with the new combo.

Yup...I needed the programmable. I could have gotten a 200mph unit, but my cars arent mechanical speedo like your 82. I kinda of wish mine went up to 200...but i dont get chances to top 160 very often, so its no biggie. Just like I wish my tach didnt go to 10k...it doesnt get used. I shift at 7100...so an 8k tach would be cool. A 200mph speedo RARELY sees 200mph or even close in most cars...

Its smog legal :) Pretty much... The thing is, the LS1 without emissions equipment runs cleaner than a 3rd gen TPI motor with. Basically, I keep my car under 5000 miles a year. That makes me emissions exempt. They dont really bother me too much about the little things missing. In two years, I can register it as an antique (weird I know...). But I wont need emissions or inspection.

thats what i would say too. sucks he doesnt even know what his car is or if it is a T/A, then he doesnt know how to drive it. in 95 the T/A and formula had the LT1 and 0-60 was about 5.6 or 5.8 seconds. they offered 2 V6's in 95, the 1st half of the prod. year was 3.4L(160hp) which was 0-60 in about 9 seconds flat, and the 3.8L(200hp) that was 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. im guessing either he has a very worn 3.8 or a good 3.4L. or he means 85 t/a(305ci), that would hit 60 in about 7-9 seconds.
