that last scene with megatron was so great. the writing, voice acting, and the subtle way the animation was used to show megatron smirking and quickstrike laughing. should be copied onto a golden disk itself. the saber-tooth fight in pt2 was tre lame though.

He shud well of been the strongest too firing 6 of his machine gun legs at the same time as his hand held weapon, and the motorbike... phwoar!

alot of people dont know this whole show is conceived of a bandai toyline. that's y alot of characters are out of place. like rampage for instance they're in a tropical desert where the hell would he scan for a crab. or megatron as a dragon later on. it's those certified crafty japanese and western marketing gimmicks. :D i have to much time on my hands...

Rampage was created when they "attempted to replicate Starscream's indestructable spark". There. It was never said in the show that Starscream and Rampage are exactly the same, you said that. If their sparks were the same they would have the same qualities. Their only similarity is that they are invincible. Actually, they never really cleared up what happened to Rampage. If Depth Charge killed him then he was never invincible, if he lived then where is he?

I read the Wikipedia article and apparently Rampage's spark wasn't quite indestructible, just a much stronger spark than the average one. An Energon spike straight through the spark could and did destroy it.

What confuses me....is if the Maximals wanted to get rid of 'Protoform X' (Rampage)...then why did they place him in a statis pod that has a DNA-replicator?  The pod turned him into a crab by scanning for local life forms.

They probably wanted to dump him in a planet with lower non intelligent lifeforms ie amoebas, protozoas , so he could live out his existence without having him being a threat to inteliigent species .

This is probably also why Depthcharge wanted to Kill him rather than "let him out to pasture" as what the elders intended to do
