I got a Wii back from repair once a couple years back and Crediar asked me to perform a raw NAND dump before overwriting anything. He and Bushing stayed up all night recovering sectors and rebuilt the Devkit menu. I don't remember what version it was, but Crediar told me not to give it out. I tried it on both of my Wii's and it stopped working on one of them for some reason.
