I am a noob on Wizard101, I admit it. Only level 9 but I'm curious to know exactly HOW to get into the other worlds. Do you have to buy a subscription or something?

@CrystalWolves978 it matters on quests, or worlds. crowns at low level just let you go there not freely. for instance, level 30 is when you go to marleybone, or defeat krokopatra in tomb of storms at krokotopia. membership forever offers you every world freely. if expiring membership, freely is short.
