@HypnosisDesigns Tyson Ibele, an incredible 3d artist, posted a tutorial on his website which I followed. I animated his rig based on that tutorial and added my own materials/lighting/sound effects. 3ds max + after effects.
@MetinProductions sounds were all sounds I got from free sound websites and then modified or sounds I made myself. Most originated as real-world sounds, like the rolling was an edited mixture of bowling balls rolling and cue balls rolling on hard surfaces, the robotic sounds made by the moving "eye" piece were originally the sound of a digital camera lens zooming in and out, the sound of the props was a mixture of power drills/tools and fake helicopter noises made in fruity loops.
Send to millitary it could be used for different reasons such as a surveilence unit or even an acuall warfare unit, u have potential Cole, make a real version of this device and send it along with blueprints
now that was cool, loved the animation i jsut wish i knew more about this so i could see how hard it was to make or how much work was put in to truly appretiate it
It was just a nice simple rig where all i had to animate was the feet and the telescopic legs reacted correctly and automatically in relation to the position of the feet and body.
how did you do this? its pretty fricken awesome...

No, it's pretty sweet. I'm fond of hyperbole, however.
