I'm so proud to say that my Great Grandfather, Wally Hardinge was playing for Arsenal in this game. He also played with Newcastle back in 1905-06. :-)

I think that this season 1919-20 was the beginning of the old First Division with 22 teams in it, and that Arsenal are the only team that have always been included. Looking at the August date this was likely their first match in the top division as well as at highbury. Fascinating.
