I love rabbath's music, but hate his odd shape end pin. It makes you play like you have bad techniques.

ok ive been told this dude is the master, and i can see y, but ppl tell me when i bow, i should only use my forearm, and ive found it to be basicly imposible, and this guy here doesnt do it either so im wondering if the "correct bowing technique" is just plain....stupid? lol

forearm, not so much. The technique I use is in the wrist. It takes practice, but it enables you to play for long periods of time. It's very relaxing. This guy ISN'T francois. Francois is 77, and the MASTER

Well you do move the bow with the forearm, but your wrist is what allows for fluid movements of the bow. If you are really interested in bow technique buy a DVD called "The Art of the Bow" by Francois Rabbath. This DVD has everything you need to know about the bow.
