Thank you my good man. The rubbing of the disc always got me. Thanks for this. I can carry on riding with plesure now. Just have to wait for the weather to get better. Most places where id want to be riding are flooded :-|
@Knightlore10 If you loosen your caliper and your wheel is still not spinning. Maybe you tightened brakes without spacer. If separate pads with a non sharp apparatus. If still not spinning, check your wheel and rotor
great video.. just one question.. I've seen other tutorials of brake caliper adjustments and you always have to press and hold the lever and then tighten the caliper
why do you have to compress the lever at that particular time?

@TheStailfish
Check that your wheel is on there evenly. Its possible that you will not get it completely free spinning without replacing your rotor.

how come this doesn't work on mine? My rotor is fine and wheel is fine. Does it only work on hydraulic brakes or something?

@rtsoccerplayer
You can adjust tension on mechanical brakes to cure this

So what do you do if the wheel is seated correctly, rotor isn't warped and the wheel still won't do a full rotation without
Binding? This is what's happening with my front wheel after removing the spline to grease and refit

By compressing the brake lever, it center aligns the caliper on the rotor. Makes easy work over eyeballing it.
