  • Who's the band in the background?? Kicks ass

  • @Zhimantas The band is Fugazi, album Repeater.

  • Thanx dude! COOL music also!

  • i've tried that but the disk is still rubbing on the pad, what should i do??? please help

  • @TheStailfish

Check that your wheel is on there evenly. Its possible that you will not get it completely free spinning without replacing your rotor.

  • how come this doesn't work on mine? My rotor is fine and wheel is fine. Does it only work on hydraulic brakes or something?

  • @rtsoccerplayer

You can adjust tension on mechanical brakes to cure this

  • Thank you my good man. The rubbing of the disc always got me. Thanks for this. I can carry on riding with plesure now. Just have to wait for the weather to get better. Most places where id want to be riding are flooded :-|

    Cheers again mate

  • does that also work for mechanical breaks?

  • @monkeygun929 Yes, and also you can adjust tension on cables for mechanical brakes

  • So what do you do if the wheel is seated correctly, rotor isn't warped and the wheel still won't do a full rotation without

Binding? This is what's happening with my front wheel after removing the spline to grease and refit

  • @Knightlore10 If you loosen your caliper and your wheel is still not spinning. Maybe you tightened brakes without spacer. If separate pads with a non sharp apparatus. If still not spinning, check your wheel and rotor

  • Helmet cam? =)

  • what song?

  • @rtsoccerplayer margin walker. Band Fugazi, album Repeater

  • Gotta love You Tube! Logged on, typed bicycle disc brake adjustment and WHAM! Instant how to vid! Thank you for posting!

    Tom - Incirlik AB Turkey.

  • Well that is certainly easier than messing about trying to adjust pads. Thanks for the heads up!

  • Thank you. Much obliged.

  • why are there three comments from the same guy? did you fix it three times?

  • great video.. just one question.. I've seen other tutorials of brake caliper adjustments and you always have to press and hold the lever and then tighten the caliper

why do you have to compress the lever at that particular time?

  • By compressing the brake lever, it center aligns the caliper on the rotor. Makes easy work over eyeballing it.

  • damn man u just made my day and my ride happy!!!!!

  • Brilliant fix got rid of that heehaw sound that was driving me nuts, cheers ...

  • Ride on brother, more videos coming soon.
