My xbox has always overheated and i got the red ring of death and microsoft fixed it and i have been playing it for 2 hours(no i am not a nerd) and it is not hot at all and i dont have a cooler and i was wondering is this something i should be worried about

u could attach the fans to the side of the xbox make two holes through the plastic that you glued the fans in and pass them through the small holes in the side of your xbox that should hold em.

Yea the air is blowing in, and the power supply is an old 12v supply that i cut the plug off and wired to to the fans.

Its a great idea, and you made some really nice fans, but Its a bad idea to suck air into it, especally if your a smoker, im guessing you a non smoker because smoking is as most peole call it "nasty", alright back to subject. You should deffenantly mount a simular setup to the back to pull the hot air out, the Xbox 360 will run cooler and it will techically pull more air in. The rear fans aren't very good so pushing extra air in won't do much.

@123456789sha Yes, you can use this but speed of fans will be lower that means less effective but also more quiet. However it depends what kind of fan you want to use.

LIES! This kills your xbox as when it gets hot (usually 1-2 hours) the board will start to heat up and warp, your GPU and Graphics Chip will start to warp also, this can cause E74 and RROD. How? By putting the whole thing on its side its defying gravity, and the natrual thing to do is to drop.

And im not bullshitting, ive fixed many consoles, and 4/5 there on there side.

well my xbox got hot both ways round and im still using this cooler in the vid and its been 100% perfect my friends had red ring and he thought his was ventalated so this does work

Do you mean have it vertically? Like with the power button on bottom and disc tray up top or do you mean have the power button on the right side and the disk tray on the left (horizontally)

The fans are a great idea, as they can help to circulate and push more cool air in the console, and especially when there on that side, as it can push some cool air across the CPU heatsink.

What ive dont is cut a 120 X 120mm circle hole in the top of my console and slapped a 120mm green LED PC fan, it works like a charm. Ive also done some shorud mods too, plus the heatsink mod. (Xclamps)
