  • You look like one of my teachers...Except skinnier...And you play the Recorder epicly! XD

  • This is played a whole step up than it's written

  • wow

  • ZOMG he has a twin O_O

And Nice music you got there! =D

  • Great job! I've played it on the violin and like half that speed.

  • Hello Koriyama ! This video is really cool ! i would like your help because i'm bigginer and i have problems for syncro image / sound / register like you ! Your advices are welcome ! I add you as friend youtube ! :)

  • maybe im confused but is that the same person pr r they twins or sumthin?????? :?

  • @TOOTZMANB13CARFREAK he recorded himself doing the video twice, then used a program to sync them together.

so it's the same person doing both parts.

for a similar example, check out mysteryguitarman.

  • @superanimeniac thanks man ,,mysteryguitarman is crazzzyy...hehe

  • woow, du kannst richtig gut spielen! ich spiele das auch grad im unterricht :) aber ich kann es längst nicht soo schnell ;-D

  • Very nice!!!!.

  • What is this song??

  • @SperiSperi Uh.... It's a piece, songs have singers. Did you read the title?

  • hahahaha verey nice ^^

  • stop playing sharp! a good performance nonetheless

  • omg that's awesome! and surely difficult, isn't it?

  • Maxa...!!

  • are you a pro or just do this as a hobby?

  • Have you done IV?

  • The recorder was much more respected in the baroque era. (So was canon, I suppose). I think you've aided its respect by posting this video. Well done; it's lovely.

  • BLESS

  • Nicely done! Although I feel the second movement is a bit fast :)

  • Excellent playing. I regret the day when I stopped the recorder playing 30 years ago. Now, I have to start from the beginning again :(

  • ... recorder isnt even a real insturment.... PROBLEMS: 1. you're puffing your cheeks 2. no dynamic sound at all until adagio ends.... hmmm do you play any real insturments? if so what are they? **BTW TROLLS** i know the the recorder is a "real" insturment, i just personally dont think that much of it since its what what 5th graders play before they have real insturments.

altogether i give you like 8/10 which means thumbs up. musicly you get 10/10 and stlyisticly you get 7/10

  • @l33tcombat I learned trumpet in 5th grade and still play it today; does that mean that it's not a real instrument? I learned to play recorder by myself; and if you don't mind... I would like to hear your opinion on why the recorder is discredited as an instrument. Does that mean that what this man played is not real music? If this man played the exact same thing on clarinet, would it earn him more respect? and please.. he's played for thirty years; your telling him about his cheeks?

  • is that a mirror beside you?

  • Hello, may i know what software you are using to video record your recorder-playing? i find it awesome. then if have, which website should i go to download or where i should buy it from shops? I am currently a rec-player in SG and uses a SONY mp3 walkman to reproduce the sounds of my recorders. hope to hear it from you soon

  • lol he is playing a real instrument at 415 nonetheless.....pretty expensive instrument probably....like $2,500 or $3,000.

  • @10centguitar that's a little pessimistic, I'd say for 2000$ (1200-1500 euros) you get an excellent hand made alto.

  • Despite I had whole night headaches, I made this part and it is so nice this sonata, that it went together that mix so I post you video answer...

  • I could today make video or mp3 but I tam so tired and did not play two days almost and I play as faint as I am tired... I am faint...but later will record it... yesterday I was whole day out, so maybe from it I am tired

  • Or two alto plus two soprano or one soprano together...that would be interesting quartet! :-D

  • Parts repeats, so now it simplyfied for me!

  • Already it goes...Merula more quicker than the others, but loosing something from it...this goes, but not with such feel as I have other interpretation as am other artist...your is nice to hear...nice to ears for me...maybe also each recorder makes its own...each recorder, each artist, interpreatation and sopran and alto is difference...interesting would be alto+sopran mp3 give together!

  • Descant recorder makes little difference from this alto as is higher....

  • That I wanted to tell in deleted comments....that I train....it goes....but I do not know how intonation I will have, maybe different little bit...I only suppose....you are really artist.

  • I simply train this! I admire your intonation!

  • I smile from all songs Bb I found as it is very different fingering for descant recorder as B and La Lusignuola Merula, Brandenburg, this Teleman, Vivaldi are Bb and so I smile they could be trained together for descant....It looks me smily....second fingering sometimes...I really smile from Bb.

  • Beautiful! All songs are beautiful....you play with feel....

  • very good

  • Great:) Are these alto or tenor recorders?

  • Altos. I'm not so tall ; )

  • Yep, I see:) How long have you been playing?

  • Nearly 30 years.

    This was painful to type. ; {

  • Oh, I see, you are an expert recorder player. Don't you think to give some concerts in Russia? ;)

  • Wow !! Funny !!

  • you are awesome !

    check my channel !

i'm working on canonic etude and canonic sonatas

  • waw! genial!

  • Splendid.

These sonata's really come alive in skilled hands.

    Bravo.

  • Very, very nice!!! I'm trying to pick up the soprano and alto recorder. I've played these on clarinet. Telemann is a forgotten genius.

  • These sonatas are the most brilliant thing I've witnessed in my musical career. I've played these same pieces on the oboe with myself and other oboists. Good job!

  • Superbe!

  • i play that too...it´s nice=)

  • Bravo

  • Not bad except for your missing arm on the right.

  • I play blockflute too.

Its not a hard instrument, but takes a while to learn...

  • OMG!! great!

  • are twins?? ....lol

  • Very nice! And very helpful to music students who are trying to get the rhythm of this piece correct. Thanks!

  • would it be possible for you to record the piece only once, and then, to play it twice, with a specific delay, so that the result would be the same?

  • Yes, you could, but there'd be two problems. 1) The final note of the piece would be too short. 2) There'd be no interaction between the parts. I recorded each part a few times and re-recorded the other part as a reaction against the other. Thanks for your comments.

  • Great! bien tocado! admirable

  • Great ! loved it !

  • what's your name? i am iatalian and i'm 12 years old and i'm a boy.where you live?

  • wtf?

  • I really enjoyed that, too; I try to introduce English folk songs on an ABS tenor.

  • I wish I could play like this, wonderfull!

  • NICE!!!

  • NICE!

  • Excellent and enjoyable. Thank you for posting the video. Steven

  • Koriyama,

Very nice performance! I have the same music for violin, and I was wondering how you recorded this with yourself?

  • I love this piece very much! It's my favorite..

  • Excellent!

  • awesome as usual. what is the brand of that recorder. is it 440 or 415. two small for 440. awesome sound an technique.

will take me decades to play like that and i am not that young anymore...

  • Thanks for your comment. I'm afraid I don't know the maker of this lovely 415 instrument. An acquaintance asked me to blow it in for her. I give it back tomorrow. I think she said it was a Suzuki. Anyway it was a Japanese maker who lives in Belgium.
