also, these have much better braking than any 2 wheel motorcycle. i have a KTM RC8 and my girlfriend has a Gilera Fuoco (Piaggio MP3 500) and the Gilera pulls up faster because it has 2 surface contact points.
@leonardomoses Do both Headlights ever come on? Can I pop the trunk with the key (a botton)? And Last, What is maintenance like(Gas,Oil,Breaks,Battery ect.)?
@TalentHaus I just got a 2008 MP3 400 with 113 miles for $4,500. Pretty much the only thing I don't like is that one headlight is high beam and the other is low. People often tell me I have a headlight out (can't use both at the same time). I've seen a few sport bikes with just one light at a time as well.
You can pop the seat and trunk with the key. I'm almost at 500 miles and the first (initial) service is around 650 miles, no one is complaining about maintenance from what I've read.
ah, i understand the reason for the price difference now.... how are you liking the 250? I bet the indo roads are beautiful to ride. i'd love to tour indonesia on the 500.
wow Hell yeaar nice and smooth.GREAT PART

what happens if you get a front puncture at speed, will it whip you off?
001maz 2 years ago
@001maz
no, because you still have another tyre that is inflated. but you will get a bit of pull towards the side that is punctured.

Probably yes but more controlable and survivable than a 2 wheel bike.

unfortunately, importing your bike to my country (indonesia) was very expensive... 200% tax. It will be the same if its in my doorstep. Poor me...
