  • very nice video...

  • he's doing german accents

  • UUUNGH, stop walking back and forth, damnit!! >:c

  • Man, stop saying uh!

  • i almost swallowed the book, in spite i read it in swedish, which is not even my 2nd language - the movie is so disappointing.

  • IN HD my channel and this channel all symbolism and new, new new symbols in WECANSTOPNWO1 channel and farhank501, 1killuminati, 111truth111 best channels.

  • It's not spelled Expresso. It's Espresso.

  • He keeps calling the actress "Victoria". Her name's Ayelet Zurer! AHH SOMEBODY MAKE HIM STOP!

  • @liadsman No, he's calling the actress Vittoria, which was the role she played in Angels & Demons

  • wanker, when anti mata liks his tongue i wana be there

  • If i would have known as a child what x-mas came from, I wouldnt have been asking for jordans and super nintendos!!!

The devil convinced someone that he wasnt really there, and they believed him!!!

  • @shoes1922 the devil doesn't exist, and neither do Jesus, Allah, Apollo, Zeus, Thor, Isis, Horus, or any of the other hair-brained nonsense deities cooked up by people who are afraid to see the world as it is...

it seems people by and large would rather believe a bunch of illiterate goat herders.

  • So what do u think ushered us a human race, amongst everyhting else, into this thing?

Just by chance all this happens, right?

Nature taking the least obstructive way brought us here?

Since u believe in nothing, just asking what do u believe in?

  • @shoes1922

    1. nobody knows, and anyone who claims to do so is either delusional, a fool, or both.

    2. it couldn't have happened any other way. there is no such thing as chance, it is all pure order,. we just don't understand... yet. we'll figure it out most likely.

3.we got lucky as a species. the universe has been here for 13 billion years, we've been here around 100,000. it took is a looooong time just to get to this point.

    4. i believe in the cosmos and all contained within it, the physical.

  • @shoes1922

have u ever seen mushrooms grow from shit?

we are the fungus of the universe.

bacteria spreads as fast as we do

  • excellent work!

  • The Vatican-Pope-Jesuits-illuminati-NAZIS-CFR run the world. they have all the judges, attorneys, doctors, major corporations, etc. all in their back pocket. bought & paid for, etc. our country is no longer free -we live in tyranny! truth an obscure thing, Oppression & lie is the norm. Were all slaves- our masters, the elite, r at least 50 years ahead of us in knowledge, technology, info., secrets & r using all of it against us!

    Go here:

    truthknowledge. com

Spread it! Time is running out!

  • After wathing this and calculating the money wasted it's no wonder the Church hates the Illuminati....LMAO

  • well ahhh of course they cut out ahhh of the film all the sciency ahhh stuff for the ahhh masses.

  • Uh......

  • boooooooring.........if this guy says uhh one more time im going to slap him

  • i got 35 mins through the video. i just couldnt watch the rest. not because of boredom, but because my head hurts so bad. there is WAY to many questions here. so much science. its like killing me!

  • Imagine 100 lbs of Anti Matter, good bye EVERYTHING.

  • the government is so stupid, they blow trillions of trillions of dollars on this crap, and wonder why the world is having a financial crisis

"Oh, it's people that are overspending, they are spending too much at Macy's, yeah that's it"

sure the idea of Anti Matter is cool, but honestly, the government is not going to use it for good anyways, there's no money in that.

and it will take 109 million years to make 1/4 gram,

wouldn't it just be easier to strap 20 nukes together? and cost less.

  • @1981z28camaro wouldn't it be easier to stop doing sh*t that would destroy the earth?

  • @StelarCF yeah it would, but that will never happen, because society is retarded.

  • how do you get clips longer than 10 minutes on youtube?

  • you become a director and it allows you.

  • you need a "Directors Account" anyone can get one, you just choose it in your profile, and then make up some reason that sounds good, about why you want that type of account.and you can also favorite like thousands of videos haha

  • WTF!!! Is this really one hour? Youtube usually divides long shows into parts

  • i did read the book now i'm going to watch the movie :)

  • Slave trade... i'm not going to argue a lot of people had slaves. And i'm not taking sides on this argument.

But all i'm going to say is.... North Africa was part of Africa. If you don't know what north africa is was look it up.

  • IS he the Wizzard of Uhhz?

  • uh.....uh.......yeah.....very good.

  • 23:12 - 23:33 Doesn't 1/4 + 1/4 = 1/2? so it would be 2.5 kilotons as a conclusion?

  • No. Using the formula e=mc^2, 1/4 gram results in 5 kilotons....dan brown did his math correct but with the wrong numbers since antimatter needs the same amount of matter to annihilate and release energy....this implies that the "m", which stands for mass, in above formula needs to be increased by a factor of 2. Increasing mass by a factor of 2 also increases the energy output by a factor of 2 which means the 5 kilotons dan brown calculated needs to be doubled to 10 kilotons.

  • Did this guy do the voice for "End of ze world"?

  • that's funny because i just watched that video before this one

  • @SpeedyThaSnail Lay off, you moron. This guy is probably a heck of a lot smarter than you ever thought about being.

  • @skateboardgumby Who cares if he is smarter than me, I sure dont. Hes Speaking in a second or third or who knows maybe even fourth language and hes doing a great job at it. I'm currently learning a third language and im sure I dont sound great. Now after watching End of ze world AGAIN, im sure hes the narrator. =)

  • wow, hard crowd. Personally I thought it was a good presentation. Thanks for posting.

  • Uhhh

  • If you edited out the "uh's", this film would be 30 minutes long.

  • hahahahaha

  • too funny

  • @sean9820 thx for telling about the uh's-.-

i hate it, so i will not watch it.

  • @sean9820 lol

  • @sean9820 Lay off, you moron. I challenge you to speak in a language that is not your native tongue and not say a few uh's.

  • @skateboardgumby making mistakes is one thing, understandably so...but saying "uhhhh" every two seconds is just hilarious and obnoxious.

  • @sean9820 lol ok!

  • @sean9820 i cannot unhear the uhs anymore ugh

  • Really.. He says nineteen-uh-fifty-uh-four. Two "uhs" in one word.

  • Whats your point?

  • Someone who re-edits this footage to cut out the "uhs" will become jesus instantly.

  • YOU ARE A MESS!! LOL!!! he really does exhaust the word "uh" though.. gotta agree!! thanks for the laugh

  • i wont be watching that movie what rubbish

  • thank god someone bothered to ask an actual smart person, not just some one kinda really smart, thank you jebus

  • Comment removed

  • First, he really is a professor. What he's doing here is a totally different thing, he is just giving a conference in which he is allowed to explain things from a different point of view. If you wanna listen to a serious approach to the Physics behind this, get a Physics degree (you may have one, I don't wanna offend you). Second, this kind of conference is the only way to get to people that are not interested in highly theoretical physics. Antimatter is know more known because of the film, sad

  • stop....fucking...moving....

get a hold of your tic and become better at long public speeches and gesticulations.

  • Physics for idiots

  • Mount Blanc is not the highest mountain in Europe. It is in Russia.Mount Elbrus in Russia is 5642 meters high. Mount Blanc is only 4810 meters high.

  • Russia isn't EU.

  • EU is European Union.

  • I appreciate the effort he put into his presentation, and he seems to be a nice guy. However, if I was a student I would have gone insane in a week. He constantly walks forward and back randomly, which is horribly distracting. Combine that with his speech: "the, uh, sugar, uh, particle, goes into the, uh, blood, where the, uh, positron, uh, collides, uh, with a, ah, um, electron, and produces, um, ah, uh, two photons, which uh, ah, um....." It makes his dissertation almost unintelligible.

  • You are absolutely right on. A presenting professor should at least pass public speaking 101. The pacing reminds one of an animal in too small a cage.

  • englsih obviously isnt his first language, and he speaks it pretty fluently for it not being so. so yea, i think he's pretty qualified to be speaking.

  • i uh really uh cant uh focus uh on uh what uh he uh is uh saying uh cuz uh of uh all the uh UH'S. see how annoying that is?

  • now that you said that.

  • Hey guys, calm down! This guy is a scientist not a politician, and he is not an english native speaker. The uh thing is rather annoying, but he's done a good job with this. And yeah, conferences are ussually about 1 hour long, is the only way to get some knowledge about a topic as difficult as antimatter.

I didn't see the whole video, but as a physics I would summarize it: antimatter exists, and it is created in the LHC, but in really smaller amount, and it cannot be stored in a small jar pot

  • @ RobertubeSpain, thanks for the summary!

  • 1 hour??????

Can uh someone make uh a summary of what uh is said in this uh video?

Ever since Obama started using the "uhs" and "ums" there are a lot of people I notice using them too but no one like Obama... uhm jk

  • I didn't notice it until you said that!! Damn you :)

  • Muahahahah (:

  • omg stop the criticism!

  • uh um uh um uh um uh um UUUHHHH

  • you picked the wrong video...

  • Really good movie!

  • uhh uhhhhhhhhh uh LOL

  • i uh also uh can't uh listen uh to uh all uh the uh "uhhhs".

  • damn...wish he'd stand still.

  • I'm sure this guy is brilliant but man the UH, UH is killin me. That sucks cuz I'm interested in what he's sayin.

  • UNSUBSCRIBE FRED!!!

  • holly shit this is long fvck it

  • Nice presentation but he says uhhhh WAY to much lol! even if he is a science professor and english is not his maternal language!

  • the movie is for morons so i guess this lecture is for morons too.

  • I don't think the average moron would understand this lecture and thus lose interest after a few minutes at the most ;).

  • Very well said!!!

This is so interesting, and the lecturer planned it very well. At some point he seemed to have diverged from Angels and Demon, but it then turns out he didn't.

  • Morons wouldn't be able to comprehend the presentation. So I guess I'll call you an idiot.

  • When will the LHC be in business again?

  • Hey there kiesersozay,

At the 30:40 mark in this lecture video, you'll see that the World Wide Web was developed by Tim Berners-Lee while he worked at the CERN physics lab.

The first U.S. web server and web page were set up at the SLAC physics lab, thanks to physicist Paul Kunz and others.

So get off of the web! Leave it, and stay off forever, because it was invented by people that you describe as "highfalutin douche bags". If you say they "don't know shit," then stop using their invention...

  • webprops, OtherVerse.

  • Great response.

  • This guy needs to learn about public speaking and stop say uh uh uh and stop clapping his hands and stop pacing back and forth. Its killing me

  • i guess he is a scientist first and isn't used to speak publicly but you are right....

  • @JustDreamChasing

He is a scientist not an actor

  • It doesnt matter he is giving a lecture

  • lets see you do better.

    'nuffsaid.

  • I have done better actually. When giving a speech you should know how to speak publicly.

  • I've yet to meet a science professor who is a fully capable public speaker.

  • Look up Neil deGrasse Tyson!

  • look up jhorman moreira he is a very good public speaker also Hitcherker Lenson

  • see that is why they stupify the facts for the movie...

  • Hey there sankatyboy,

The LHC Safety Assessment Group (LSAG) has completed thorough assessments of safety at the LHC.

Every single "danger" idea has been exhaustively documented and mathematically debunked: microscopic black holes, false vacua, strangelets -- some stuff that I'm sure you've never even heard of

Search Google for the following set of terms:

"cern document server 1120625 the lhc is safe"

That'll link you to a great talk by Jonathan Ellis, and you'll see URLs for the LSAG papers

  • yea don't watch them u might actually see the truth about your government

  • zeitgeist movies were the best movies I saw in 2008 --- google 'zeitgeist' and watch them for free online, they will blow your mind.

  • lmfao the movie theater near my house spelled it "Angels And Deamons" hahaha

  • Damn, this felt like a really hastily thrown together talk

I mean, he seems to have lifted his whole-body PET scan image right off of the wikipedia "Positron Emission Tomography" page.

So many missed opportunities in this talk, and so many unresolved threads (seriously, why even mention the lame "God particle" meme? When he fails to follow up there, then it just reinforces misconceptions)

And why discuss CP-violation without mentioning the 2008 physics Nobel Prize? (Maybe he's jealous...?)

  • Uh, Uh, Uh, Uh. Jeez, I could hardly listen to this.

  • How to do keep antimatter away from matter? :O

  • space ;) because evrywhere around you there is matter so space is the only place or some device but good luck making that :p to remove all matter from it and making the antimatter don't touch anything and to prevent it from collapsing because of the air pressure ( sorry if my english is bad)

  • Magnetic or electrical fields. Antimatter anihilates it's normal matter counterpart, so you could confine negatively charged protons with electrons. Magnetic fields or an EM field might be used.

  • Thank you for this answer. I understand now...

  • did u even listen to the dude? ist about the quarks and electrons being differently charged, its the same, but well negative kinda^^

  • antimatter DOES have mass and volume. He was talking about .25 grams of antimatter in the movie.. grams is a unit of mass.

The "anti" in antimatter does not mean "NO" , it means opposite as in Opposite charge, negative and positive.

  • IS A MOVIEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! Pleassseeeeeee, same like church, you are all the same, this freakie is very slow, try to talk without watching the answers, and... dou you speak english or you are very nervous?? What´s the problem with the ARTISTS (not scientists) Howard and Hanks? The life is at the corner of your house, don´t close yourself, there´s a lot more beyond your glasses, man Try to go to cinema, try to watch a movie, try to fun with something because life is short, and that´s a fact.

  • I thought thats u XD! That was too cool! Your cousin is amazing! Thanks

  • Oh stop the nonsense already. You haven't even remotely mastered the language you're cursing in; whose brain level is being held down here?

  • holy crap an hour!?

  • yea, how is that possible. havent seen any clip longer than 10/15 minuts?

  • i notice a lot of ignorants are interested!good now go read some real science ....

  • i have to say i totally agree with what everyone has said so far so man i really have nothing else to tell you except that it was intertaining.

  • Basicly a chunk of the collidor warmed up over 200 degrees centigrade to around minus 60. Knowing about differential thermal expansion you know that this causes problems as the pipe was ruptured and effecting pieces around it...

Money was spend at around €6Billion - allmost a fraction of the cost to bail out a small bank!

  • "Can matter touch "antimatter"?" clearly an expert on the subject...

  • Yes, matter can touch antimatter, and if it does so, the antimatter and the matter anihilate each other in a violent release of energy. Short: Matter + Antimatter = BOOOOM

  • Antimatter is made of antiprotons and antielectrons, or rather positrons. They can touch matter, but annihilate each other in doing so.

  • Anti Protons. They can be confined by either electrical fields (antiprotons repel electrons) or magnetic fields or a combination (an EM field).

  • like bizarro world, right? prove it.

  • Oh you're laughing, I can't find my glassess, that's great!

  • O ( just to keep it acurate;)

  • ooo

  • Crazy stuff!

  • Why doesn't CERN give tours of the collider ? I want to see it.

  • They do..

  • Ive looked into it, and they've stopped. I'll be in the area in September, and they now only give tours above ground. They stopped giving tours below ground. They are probably afraid of herds and herds of people stampeding through their facility the way that we over-ran the Louvre. I think there'd be more support for major (aka expensive) science projects if they were made -open- to the public. You listening to me, NASA ?
